I came across a pdf yesterday that did something amazing.

When I opened the pdf a new browser tab automatically opened in Firefox and it went to this guys homepage.

And everytime I tried to hit the scroll down on the pfd it opened another tab with the same link in firefox.

My mind is racing with ideas about what to do with this but I have no idea how to make a pdf file do this.

Any ideas?

I'm looking for an explanation about how opening the ebook itself causes the browser to open with a link and scrolling in the ebook also causes the browser to open with a link.

Here's more information/tutorial on how to "set triggers" like send an email/open a url for user's action like mouse up/mouse down,etc..,

Note : You need Acrobat to create actions. Not sure any other PDF creators has this option on it.

I would like to know how to 'read' a pdf that is just blank pages ... and yes clicking on the doc when it is open in Adobe reader causes browser to open on Amazon.

I tried 1 online site to remove restrictions, and 2 pieces of software, and all I get as response is that there is no restrictions. Opened in Komodo to try a manual
method of altering the 'print' setting, and there is no 'print'. Also the page count in the reader is just too huge to be real for the size of the file.

Help is greatly appreciated. I think I can get Adobe PDF creator if I have to, but likely 2 years old.
