I set up a new URL and used SEC. Its been 2.5 weeks now and its still not indexed. I ping the site twice a day and nothing. Please help.

no it hasnt been registered before but its a brand new one

Submit the Cloaked URL to a Social Book Marking site, I've had sites indexed within 1 day using this method with SEC.

But as papadre said, I would also check the trck record of the Domain name.....it may have been banned before by google.

My site got indexed last night finally but now is there any need to keep pinging my URL or keep writing articles at social book marking sites.

Update your site regularely with fresh content, ping the fresh posts and submit a link to the new posts to social bookmarking sites. This way the search engines know your site is "alive and kicking" and they will crawl it pretty regular.

George can I just update a page or 2 daily with fresh content and ping that?

If your site is not a google adsense site, but a site with real products or information do this:

Write 4 articles relating to your product, make the articles useful to the reader, IE give them something to help them, some information or something that will solve a problem.

Submit these to Goarticles, and ezinearticles spacing them at 1 week intervals each, make sure you have your site linked with a keyword as the anchor text on each article.

Submit them to as many article sites as you can within the next month or so.

Set up a wordpress blog on your site and post that information on it as well, submit the blog to social bookmarking sites etc.

Never submit cloaked urls directly to search engines.

SEC has a clever added feature to stop google and other search engines from discovering your cloaked pages with it's .htaccess code over ride, this is a great feature as it gives you more protection from being exposed, read how to use it and implement it.
