    Default Cloaking 301 redirect

    Hi,
I was curious.. if I don't use any cloaking scripts just a plain 301 redirect to some high pr page... and then when I get the Pr I remove that redirect and make actual content... will the pr still remain for a few months? and how long will it take for the fake pr to come? Does it take less time because I'm just using a 301 redirect?

    Thanks.

If you do it now it will come next PR update, so in about 3 months. If you remove the 301 the PR will go back to normal the following update.

Not sure why you would want to do this though.

Lol. Thanks. I did try a quick search.. but was too superficial lol...

    BTW, What if I have a PR4 domain... and a PR0 domain.

If I forward the PR4 domain to my PR0 domain.. will the PR0 be a PR4 domain? (it's kinda the opposite of cloaking)

    Thanks

If you redirect a PR4 to a PR0 the PR4 will remain because it has backlinks to support it (provided it doesn't lose any).

Just a quick question while we're on this topic...

If I use a PR0 domain to 301 to a PR4 domain, will the PR0 domain effecively become PR4? (kinda the opposite of what TCM asked. Just wondring if it goes bothways...)

I was of the understanding that Google updates PR constantly on many levels, they just only publish it every so often. I'm convinced i read that from Google itself?
