I'm curious your opinions on this..

If you're targeting a certain social site and aren't relying on SEO or anything else.. just the clicks you receive from your blackhat techniques.. would it be wise to redirect anyone else off the site to a different website?

I'm afraid some of them could just copy/paste the link and I'd lose them.. but if the link is clickable already I shouldn't lose much of them.

I lost a bunch of tinyurls I made today and some of my time was wasted since the links are dead.. so I was thinking if I only made it send them to my landing page if they're coming from the social site my links might last a bit longer.

for instance if tinyurl or whatever url service I was using tried looking into the link.. they wouldn't end up on a spam site.

I just started doing this.. but I'm having second thoughts about it already.

well yesterday I got 4 conversions out of 50 uniques.

so looks like it's working good enough..

does anyone else do this?
