Peter Bray no longer supports his product 'Search Engine Cloaker'

Dose anyone still use it? Or does it no longer work?

Is there anything else out there?

Theres always wp cloaker dot com, and he's very quick to answer any support questions, and there's great videos and documentation on how to use it. He even gave me $100 off when I mentioned I found his product here on BHW

there is 3 good cloaking script actually that merit attention & other are russian & not translated so i wont talk about them,

Simplified Search Engine Suite (SSES)
now they have other tool like Blog Cloaker wich is better than SSES
Blog Cloaker cost a lot of money when you compare with WP shapeshifter
Blog Cloaker & SSES suite etc... cost 80 $ month & you need dedicated server

Wp Shapeshifter cost around 500 $ & you can install it on your shared hosting blogs .....

WP shapeshifter is good but less advanced that all SSESS & blog cloaker tools (no CJ feeds per example)

Fantomas Shadowmaker is one of the best but cost lot of money then you need to pay IP subscription (instead other)

WP cloaker is basic for me so i wont talk about


you need 2 or 3 month at least to get a money back .....
so i let you see what is the best : )

I started using Peter's product in 2006 and I still
use it today. I've php scripts of my own that work
together with SEC. I added this layers few years
ago to reduce bounce rate.

What I do after SEC redirects a visitor to my script,
it captures the referer and displays content based on
either the keyword a user typed on the search engine
bar or the link title on SERP.

I've learned over the years that when users click
a link on SERP and land on page's headline which
doesn't resemble the link they clicked or the keyword
they typed on the search bar (this is normal in cloaking)
they'll leave the page immediately.

So for example if a user search, "How to lose weight
for women over 40", the script will create an article
that has a headline "How to lose weight for women
over 40" and will customize it's paragraphs based on
the referer information that was captured by the script.

Also about the basic tab... the ip's I put on there
are only class A and B, something like ips below.
Because cloaker is not supported I decided to cloak
everything that smells like search engines.

The good old days of SEC -- Bought it used it for a while now but now those sits are long gone and no longer uses SEC - so many new things out there these days.

This. SSES is badass

Shadowmaker is expensive because it cloaks better than anything out there and it works. + it keeps 99% of the people who would spoil it out of reach..

I agree with the comments about shadowmaker. Thought about a group buy but then thought, why not form a small group, everybody chips in and we have our own coder make a script exclusive for us. There's 32 of us now and we need 18 more. Interested? PM me.

if you use wp i think there are a ton of cloaking plugin there

ShadowMaker is complex but in the right hands it's nothing u can't do.
