Default Cloacking real URL in browser address box

    hey guys,
I've noticed something which is a bit annoying to me:

I've bought an info domain which should be redirected to myhost.com/test/bla.html

but however, whenever i enter the info domain in my browser as soon as the browser loads the page, the adress box' sayin the true url: myhost.com/test/bla.html

how can i prevent this? i got my domain from namecheap and my hoster is hostgator.

would be really glad if i could get this handled!

Only thing I could think of would be Iframing the page.

Well in this case it would be better to actually use frames rather than iframes, but yeah that's the basic idea of what needs to be done. Set up an index.html on the .info domain and make it load the target page in a frame. Be sure to set the borders to 0 so that the frame takes up the whole browser page. The result will be a page displaying the target page, but the address bar will show the .info url.

You can also just set it up without having to even host the .info domain. Just go to the registrar for the .info domain and set up url forwarding. Point to the target page, and select Masked for the forwarding type. That just does the same thing as described above about framing, but the registrar sets the page up automatically. The registrar will even let you give it a custom page title if you want.
