Blasting a 301 is safer ?
Simple question :
we know the juice pass thru the 301 but ..
blasting a 301 redirect is safer than blasting directly money site ?
what do you think ? any case study ?

I've seen people escaping penalty by 301ing the penalized site, but this is only temporary....
at least if your links start getting bad link juice (penalty cause they are all EMD blog links, for eg.) you could cancel the 301 but then you lose all good link juice too
you could have like 5 301s and drop them and add them as your linking gets noticed... but this is awfully noticeable :-)

i've stumbled with a bookmarking site "123bookmarking" or something like that with almost 200 301s from .co.cc domains, you might not find it in google but from the other co.cc bookmarkign domain.
however, what i want to say is taht if you are looking to grow up in google then you must follow its guidlines and google doesn't appreciate it much until and unless its most need.
