I'm using wordpress and a redirection tool that let me make a affiliate link loke like website.com/go/blackhatpro. However, when it's redirected with my affiliate link, the referral ID is showing up. Anyone know of any Wordpress plugin or something that can make this referral ID go away?

Anyone know of such cloacker?

It would be helpfull for me if you would better explain me your desired outcome and give us a link so we know what you are talking about.

But it sounds like you WANT that the affiliate partner knows that he should add 1 view to your id so i am wondering what you expect from "removing the id". The affiliate partner will need this id bro!

You cloack the id so it won't be shown with javascript/html and or double meta refresh or a url shortner? I just heard of these things, but need guidance on how I can remove hide my referral id.

So this is not possible? It's not possible to hide the referrall id attached to my affiliate link?

Hey,

There is only one way to do what you want, and still get your commission.
What you need is to drop the cookie on your visitor. This means the visitor is recognized as coming from you, and you can then send them to the vendor's landing page, or salespage, and still get credited as the referring affiliate.

That is the way to do what you are asking, but, sadly, it's a complex thing to do.
For two reasons:

1. Some vendors only recognise the last cookie dropped so if the vendor's landing page also drops a cookie, you'll lose the credit, unless you route straight to the order page, and
2. Dropping a cookie can be considered as cookie stu**ing. That's a BH technique, and all discussion about is banned on many forums, so it's not easy to find the appropriate scripts or threads nowadays, even if you want to use it for whitehat reasons.

Yes there is such a cloaking device ... it's called 'gotrythis' ... it still works quite nicely on one of my sites and even gets the cloaked link indexed in google !

Enjoy :D

Can't double meta refresh sometimes hide the affiliate ID on the vendor's landing page without removing the cookie, on aleast firefox? I've tried to look for some solution for like 3-4 weeks! Please, need some script or something!

that is not really cloaking, it sounds you want to only hide your referal id in the browsers address bar?

You could wrap the aff link in a frame if the target site has no framebreaker, that would make the address bar look like your websites address and not the aff link.

I also use gotrythis for such things - it looks like they are still on your page; mind you, it might be against the new tos of many affiliate companies as they want you to make it clear that you send visitors to an offer you get paid for...

I bought a cloaking program about five yrs ago and got me into a lot of trouble back then. It was a site from some guy in eastern europe bragging and posting picture of him living the good life after all of his secret cloaking success. I'm sure some of you know this guy.

You could always cookie stuff the user and then forward the user to the site with no affiliate links.

For instance, a page you have with an iframe with your affiliate link which then meta refreshes (after a second or two) to the actual offer page (not through an affiliate link).

Use at your own risk though (will probably drop lots of conversions and break the advertisers tos, etc.)

The plugin you are using with wordpress is GoCodes i Believe . Because the way url is forming it is GoCodes, Anyways Gocodes is an extremely simple plugin which help you make Links SEO, short it and give impression of an internal Link.

I am making a complete plugin with SMR,DMR , JavaScript and other methods but it is 50% complete and at this time working Stand alone. if you want to be a tester just pm me and i will give you the account.

but if you are looking for quick solution i think you have to search internet
