Guys I want to try CPA offers using gateways. But the only thing that con earns me are all the programs out there that will unlock your page before visitors submit their details, being zip or email submits etc. There are sites that say they can bypass locked content with ease (not allowed to post url's yet - some of you know the programs I'm referring to). Is there a way around this or could gateways becoming a tool of the past?

Anyone who is smart enough to use a third party site or tool to bypass a content locker is also smart enough where they would probably just close your page as soon as they saw it come up and keep googling for your content anyways - these people were never going to convert for you IMO.

Thanks wowhaxor, are you saying there's really not that many people with knowledge enough to use a third party bypass tool. If this is the case then I don't really have to worry about losing many sales using a content locker.

The gateway is pure js so is susceptible to js address bar injections (which are client-side). You can't prevent any of this from happening until it hits your server side and they've bypassed the lock.

The only thing you can really do as a next step but won't 100% prevent it (there will be people who can bypass this step too) is if your CPA network supports post-redirect variables consider checking that this is present. If it isn't, its likely they did not complete the survey and you could redirect them back to the survey page. If it is, they either completed it or bypassed this one too by passing the variables themselves (not worth preventing this IMO unless the CPA network has a way of verifying this variable is authentic).

Yes,

The people who fill out these offers are somewhat computer illiterate. I mean you could Google a little more and find the content without a locker - so that speaks to your demographic right there.

Thanks WildDisease, I will check my cpa network for post-redirect variables. Doesn't seem like theirs much I can do about the knowledgeable ones. Real cat and mouse.

I specifically target people who gill be gullible and inexperienced enough to think they are actually going to get $500 for entering their email address; either very young people or older people.

As off topic this is, i really need to know, what are some CPA networks that don't take much to be accepted and accept quickly??

True, most people see a CPA offer and say "Pfff I'll look somewhere else"

The only CPA network that accepted me no questions asked was peer fly.

Peerfly accepted me with no phone call or follow-up questions, but I also know how to sound experienced. I also have a pretty legit looking corporate website. However if you want quick approval... they did take several days to accept me, which is typical. If possible I might avoid saying you send social media traffic if you do... the approvals manager sent an email saying you are supposed to email them the link to any facebook fan pages you use to promote if my social media includes FB. (Also fan pages have to be dedicated to the product, no posting on viralized Justin Bieber fan pages.)

dont worry about the few people who can bypass the thing. there are plenty of dumb people to click on your offers and complete the cpa things.
