bit.ly and cloaking

Is it considered cloaking to just put your shortened link from bit.ly on your site?

No. Cloaking is when you show one version of the content to SE spiders and one to regular surfers.

Be aware that the bit.ly shortening service is hosted in LIBYA, thus the .ly extension. God forbid Libya has a revolution like in Egypt and decides to shut down its servers. All those .ly extensions would DISAPPEAR. I would use another shortening service like tinyurl.

I am living in Libya but I am not Libyan.
The current statues is top, people are not protesting, in fact, they are protesting against the people who don't like him, nothing happened till now, just people with the president's picture, he's provided Libyans all they need, no need to protest I guess!
