Default Meta Refresh

I'm kinda confused about meta-refresh.

If I have it on a website that directs to an affiliate offer via meta-refresh.... will it hide that it came from THAT website? or does it hide something else?

it hides your very original url ...
so basically
site1 (blackhat technique) -> site2 (ok site) -> aff offer

basically, aff offer sees site2 as the referrer and not site1, which contains whatever method you are using to send ppl to the affiliate site.

hope this helps

I could be wrong but I believe that a meta-refresh will blank the referrer, but not always and that's why people do a double meta refresh; just do a search for double meta refresh and that should help you.

Yes it blanks referrers. Instead of seeing www.blalba.com the company will see something like.. "possible e-mail or bookmark link" that's at least what one of my aff programs say's when people click on the double refresh
