I'm trying to find out the easiest and most effective way to cloak affiliate links from Google so my site can rank well organically. I know there are a few wordpress plugins that can do this but I need a solution for a plain html page. All I'm trying to do is hide affiliate links from the bots so they don't penalize my site from a SEO perspective. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It can´t be done in plain html.
It needs some php/perl/pyton code to distinguish the spiders from real visitors.

i don't know what you need exactly but i found something in my laptop may be help you the link in the attachment . , for the VT scan do it by yourself
because my connection very slow , i'm so far upload it .

@ wacked, thanks for the insight, I was hoping there was an easy way other than hardcore cloacking. Any advice on a good software to explore to help out with this?

Never tried it, but you could do something with JS/JQuery.
