Default windows 7 security warning in proxies?

Hi,
I'm using anonymous proxies in windows 7 for the first time and a windows security warning pops up telling me to enter passwords for proxy. I do but the warning stays? I then try to just cancel and it won't do that either.

I do not use windows firewall so what can be the matter.

These proxies work fine on my other computers which all have vista?

Help, thanks!

I am using Firefox? Also it's not a browser warning. It pops up when I use a certain program that uses multi threads.

Same thing happened to me last week with anonymous proxies. Super annoying
It's trying to connect through your proxies to the internet but doesn't have them saved as default - so go to
Tools>Options>Advanced>Network>Settings
There you can configure your proxy, set none or autodetect.
