Say for example I cakeslice a section of a website which is simply a button saying click here and punch that into another site, then someone vists my new site and clicks the button that has been cakesliced from another website.

My question is, does the referrer show as the new website with the iframe in it or the original website which has had the button cakesliced from it?

i would have thought it would be the original site that had the button on it...id suggest faking the referer try running it through either a DMR first or if your using wordpress use one of the plugins available

If you're going to blank or fake, make sure you have contingincies in place to combat leaked referrers.

man i say don't even bother with iframing..i tested with this cpa network i didn't really care about..guess what they banned my @ss like 2 days after i started, must of leaked the referrer somehow..but thats all it took i guess these cpa networks aren't playing anymore..might be time to go greyhat
