That's right, they sign into click bank, find the product , and buy if from there own affiliate link, giving them a discounted product, and YOU , the affiliate getting NADA - ZIP -- ZILCH -

Any suggestions?

That may be true when you're dealing with products related to internet marketing, but only that niche. Most products on clickbank are from other niches where people don't have the slightest idea what IM even is. So, focus on those products.

However, if you are going to market something that's IM related you'll need to offer them an incentive for purchasing through your link. It could be something like an e-book that's going to add on to the method they're purchasing.

Yeah, I heard that b4 as well, some pet stuff , free electricity, hair products so forth, not IM cause IMer's are wise to clickbank - but the free offer is a good idea.. thx

a majority of people that are interested in what product your promoting probably have no idea what clickbank is and what it's all about, muchless what internet marketing is so i wouldnt sweat it. theres also minimum requirements that these people have to meet before they can get a check from clickbank. so most of these people have no idea how to do im so i doubt that would be to much of a problem. i doubt they would want all the hassle just to get a single discount on the product your promoting.

My suggestion is pretty much the same as what drd26 said. I stay away from products that are strictly for experienced IMers. Luckily, there isn't *too* many of those things (that don't come across as newbie-friendly as well) on CB. If I do try and promote IM-related products, I always push them towards newbies.

drd26 was right on the money when he said that CB is *full* of non-IM products where you never would have to worry about people ordering from their own link.

I do read a lot of people suggesting buying CB products through their own link, that is against the TOS isn't it? Do they ban your account if you are caught doing it? Just wondering.

How lucrative can a 100 page guaranteed money making method ebook be worth on CB marketplace? Anyone with experience in writing ebooks please let me know what is a realistic amount you can expect to earn from an ebook that become quite popular?

the great method seems to be offering unreal bonuses - thousands of dollars worth - for you to buy through my link, conditional upon the sending of your CB receipt - so - get MRR niche related products, put your own price on each of them (like $47.00 or $97.00) and attacth them to your review website as bonuses for "the first 50 who buy this product off me, after that they are all gone" or something along these lines. I am outa touch with CB as I think they suck and have moved right away from them but this used to work a while ago

either that or think up some twist with a method you have to make the use of the product better than just the product on its own -

like "automating angelas backlinks" was done with a simple instruction to buy robo form, and the pieces of code needed to creatr the profiles fast

And put it into an ebook and offer it as an exclusive bonus if they buy through your link etc

failing this - cookie stuff and take thy chances - at least if offsets the loss of sales due to affiliate commissions being sidelined

I suggest you simply have a quick look on CB, in the same niche as yours, see what they are goin for and just allow 40% of the retail price take home for each one your affiliates sell (comms + fees = 60%)

The purchasing through ones own affiliate link is encouraged due to the vast amount of "review" marketers. CB are ok with it as it is still fees for them and so is the manufacturer as it is still a sale. The only one who gets pissed about it is the affiliate

Don't think you will have that problem with the how to build a chicken coop niche =p

This is why you only sell IM products as a publisher. That's why their gravity is so high, almost every sale is from an individual person who buys with their own hoplink.

Here are three more things you can try.

Create a mirror page hosted on your own domain and delete the 'affiliate sign-up' link.

Create a detailed, convincing pre sell page and link directly to the CB order page.

And in case you have a significant list size, you could contact the vendor and ask him to create a special sales page for you. Leaving out the affiliate link and/or giving your subscribers a better deal (added bonus, lower price, etc.).
