Cb noob blog/landingpages/squeeze page ????
ok i am ready to sell a CB product i already found the one i want and i bought a domain name...
I was putting everything together when i realized a few things..
Is'nt it dumb to build a squeeze page and then send them to another squeeze page to make a sale??
should i even build a squeeze page??
or should i build a blog and use the pages as "landing pages" that then send the customer to the real sales page and take it from there..
Can you guys chime in because im new to this and i just want to get some ideas on how this works.

Re: Cb noob blog/landingpages/squeeze page ????
seems like im going to make a blog with each page optimized for specific longtail keywords and make thos pages a short pre sell page..and then link to the actual sales page withing the contect and at the bottom of the post. im also building a short squeeze page attached to the blog that kind of gets straight to the point..to pick up the skeptical people...
Now this poses another problem..hould this type of setup actually advertise two products or just 1...

If you're sending them to your own pitch page then send them directly to the product order page instead of a second pitch page. It's a good idea to have a squeeze page because only a very small number of visitors buy on their first visit and with a squeeze page you can email them repeatedly and do upsells, etc.
It's good that you have a domain name and a product that you want to market, but the most important thing is traffic to your site, since nobody will buy from you if they cannot see your offer.

Re: Cb noob blog/landingpages/squeeze page ????
i think link cloaking is a waste of time because by the time the person has read through your articles (assuming you're using article marketing as a means of traffic) they just want to see the product and buy it....few even bother to look at the url

Re: Cb noob blog/landingpages/squeeze page ????
I ALWAYS cloak my links. I tried early in my affiliate maketing career just using CB hoplinks and then I started cloaking my links and my conversions DOUBLED. BTW, I don't do much with ClickSpank anymore since they seem to have major tracking issues.

it wont be a waste of time when you have a well established site getting 0 sells!!! i can see the point of cloaking your links..its just another security measure and when online you can never have enough.
