Hi,

I own a site dedicate to pregnant woman. I have created prenatal Yoga videos who covers the whole pregnancy (pre, postnatal, baby, massage, partner...)

I was pregnant in the videos, and I did all the voice over.... I'm proud of my products and now ready to share it worldwide but I'm concerned about my accent!! I'm French:o

I'm about to create a Video sale letter for a clicbank affiliate program, but would it not be better to ask somebody native to do the voice over?
What is your opinion about accent?

Christelle

French accents are widely liked so I certainly don't think it will be a problem.

I just checked out your site and your accent sounds French with a hint of Irish. Both accents are not too strong and it's very easy to understand what you are saying, so all good in my opinion.

Professional voice over people are always going to give you an edge because they do it for a living and but it's not essential.

I'm from the UK though, not the US.

I have found as long as the person is understandable, that both French and Irish accents (mentioned by Trepanated) are pleasant to hear. Being that my wife studied French for 3 years I know she wouldn't be put off by it either. We are born and living in the US.

Sure French accents are great! Nothing to worry about on that front. :)

You accents is fine. In a one on one training video like this it is better to sound like a human and not a professional presenter.

Your videos and site in general is very well produced so I'm sure you will do well.

Love the accent. I find that any accent (as long as it is understandable -- and yours is) helps to keep the person interested and sort-of engages their attention more.
Where was the video shoot if I may ask?
