Well this may seem like a dumb question, but I'm new to these things. I've tried promoting products with links in articles and side banners, but nothing worked so far.

I have a site that is getting good traffic (1000-1300 UV/day) but it's built in a blog like style. All my new articles are on the front page. I was reading trough the posts and decided to put some squeeze page/opt in form on my site so I can collect emails and start an email marketing campaign for a CB product.My only problem is that I don't know where to put the squeeze page. Should I make it a separate page and put some links in articles or can i make it a side module on my front page?

I think you can sell the benefits of joining the list more on a separate page. The side module catches their eye and the separate page sells them on it.

If your site was going to be just a squeeze page and your sending traffic by ads then yeah make it all on one page

If you dont want to make the squeeze page your homepage (I would) then the next best option may be to do a squeeze pop up. You can even delay the popup to come up in say 15-20 seconds. Make sure the offer is valuable to your blog readers so they'll be happy to offer the email in exchange.
