Need Help: how do I find a converting clickbank sales page or product that converts well?
Hi, Jarod here =].
Although I've been a registered member for a very long time, I've been visiting this forum for maybe a week now, and have been learning about affiliate marketing (1 week so far) by George Brown of the Google Sniper 2.0 program, but my question is how do I find converting clickbank sales pages to promote? What are the principles that define a converting sales page and product? And what are some things I should be aware of when researching a clickbank product to promote?
Now, before you answer my question, I've learned a lot about affiliate marketing from the Google Sniper 2.0, and it is apparently a very easy program to follow, but I've also been noticing that a lot of the sites that George have been reviewing haven't been converting as well, which is my concern. If I choose a product, and get traffic (because I know how to promote my website really well), will the product I'm promoting convert well?
So that's where my question comes in (reminder: how to find a converting clickbank sales page or product that converts well?). But here's my understanding so far:
- A good clickbank product has a high gravity, but the more gravity means the more competitive it is.
- EDIT: A good product's gravity doesn't dramatically fall either, as it rises or falls at a steady paste (Credit to Shadowfox).
- A good product has at least or is around 90% referred.
- A good sales pape has proof of its results.
- A good sales page also has testimonials.
- A good sales page shows its product's success rate. (Those percentage metrics)
- A sales page articulates clear benefits.
- A good sales page garrantees money back.
- A good sales page offers bonus products as well.
- And it especially uses a video in addition to all of the above, or sometimes it's just the video by itself.
Please help. Would love your response as soon as possible.

Well you are on the right track. Apart from the things that you have mentioned, you should also check the historical gravity and refund rates. Many times it happens that the product has a high gravity but it is declining. So it is best to avoid the product if the gravity is in a serious decline. Similarly a product with high refund rates is not worth promoting. Although CB does not disclose refund rates, many sites calculate the refund rates based on the difference between commission percentage and actual commission received.
Use the sites cbsnooper, cbengine to find these details about the product that you want to promote.

Thanks Shadow Fox. I will definitely use this in the future.
If anyone can provide me with an example of what a good product is, it would be great. The sales page doesn't have to be good either. If you think I'm trying to use you though, an example of a bad sales letter would be great as well, so I'd still appreciate your time and effort. I'd just like some type of validation or blueprint of what makes a good product for affiliate marketing though.
