PPC/PPV + ClickBank. Anyone willing to share ideas?
For me the situation is this:
- Google Adwords: It doesn't accept direct linking to ClickBank salespages.
- Yahoo Advertising UK: It does accept direct linking to ClickBank salespages but the clicks are expensive especially if you don't know well the conversion rate of the product.
- Microsoft Yahoo USA: not tried
- Facebook Ads: It does accept direct linking to ClickBank salespages but it's becoming quite expensive especially considering that it's very poorly targeted.
So I'm looking people who know something about alternative PPC networks like Bidvertising, Miva, Adbrite etc. and also banner networks or PPV networks, to share ideas here.
Thanks

I dont understand why you dont just buy a $5 dollar domain from networksolutions and push traffic to a one page site with details and a paypal link. Maybe im missing something but i think that is a solution for ya

Well, have you used those CPV/PPV networks direct linking to ClickBank salespages? Is the price you spend reasonable?

Because people are lazy and don't want to read many pages before buying. I have purchased many domains but I usually redirect them directly to the clickbank page.
Now I need to find a good source of cheap but targeted traffic. And most of you need the same.

Dude, have u never seen a micro-niche page before?? All of the GOOD ones are ONE PAGE and about 1000 WORDS. There is no need for people to read through many pages to buy. You tell them all you need to know with one page and the buy button scattered throughout the entire page.
Also, it is much easier to target traffic with a KEYWORD!!! LOL that way you can have an EMD (exact match domain). With this method, your "targeted traffic" find you! THe cheapest way to do it is with good SEO tactics. Period!

That is not recommended. You should build a CPV landing page that fits the pop up size of the network your using. You can convert CPV traffic with Clickbank but, you'll have to be very creative and never direct link with Clickbank.
Are you serious about CPV? Or, are you just asking to see what people say?

Yes whitelion, I know about microniche single page websites to presell a clickbank product and also microniche blogs. Actually I own a couple of them, and I have studied a 6 hour video course on the subject. I like these resources but sometimes working with SEO is so slow.
Well actually I could use a presell page instead of direct linking but that's not the core of my question which is "what do you recommend as cheap and reliable alternative PPC/PPV network?"

Yes I'm serious. I'm asking that because I want to try new (for me) source of traffic. I could create myself a CPV landing page because I have FlexSqueeze for WordPress. But tell me one thing: CPV and PPV networks are only those that rely on adware software? Or there are also other types?

There's no such thing as cheap quality traffic. You are the person who will make the traffic cheap by ctr and conversion rate. Otherwise everybody would be a millionaire.
It requires dedication and hard work to make a campaign profitable. Lots of split testing, tracking, testing offers across the networks. While an offer payout maybe $3 per sign up, but the same offer from another network may convert much better with a $2 payout because of the landing page.
Cpa offers do much better than pps offers on ppv networks. If you are considering ppv traffic, you will definitely need a converting landing page. You will 98% blow your money if you direct link straigh to the offer.
As for what to promote: Dating and games verticles always do well with ppv traffic, as long as you know what you are doing.
Traffic Vance has one of the best quality in terms of ppv traffic, but you need $1000 start up, plus a referral to get in. Which, is not something you are looking for.
If you are not doing well with ppc traffic, you will most likely fall flat on your face with ppv. It's totally a different and tougher game. And stay away from promoting clickbank on ppv. Promoting clickbank on ppv, actually any paid traffic with direct linking is suicide. We are not in 2005 anymore.
Knowledge is power!

Re: PPC/PPV + ClickBank. Anyone willing to share ideas?
Well said!
I would also like to throw in the fast that being creative in CPV and exploring other verticals other then just cpa may be worth doing. The most important thing about cpv traffic is that it can be used for many things. Most people just promote cpa offers, the same offers everyone else is promoting. Think outside the box!

Re: PPC/PPV + ClickBank. Anyone willing to share ideas?
PPV doesn't work well with ClickBank, but you can steal traffic from top blogs using PPV.
Heck I even think thats the reason why my CPA offer doesn't convert on my website that was doing $6 per day before this

Re: PPC/PPV + ClickBank. Anyone willing to share ideas?
What you're trying to do .. has not a lot of chances of success ..
Direct linking doesn't work in most cases .. It may work in some, but really if you can't make it work with yahoo, bing or adwords you stand no chance of making it with PPV or other cheaper (but extremely lower quality) search engines.
Bing (well it also cover yahoo nowadays) PPC is pretty hassle free, so you can try different options. The "cheapest" option for bing and facebook, for that matter is international traffic. Have you thought of that ??
Also, you need to develop a skill with ppc .. not just spend x and get y and hope y > x. Learn how to presell, build an email list, build your own product .. that's what WILL work and can be called a business...

Yes Facebook does accept clickbank links. Or at least it accepts them for italian targeted advertising. Doesn't it accept them for the US?

Re: PPC/PPV + ClickBank. Anyone willing to share ideas?
Tracking is really important on running a very successful PPC campaign.
Track to the deepest you can.(keyword, domains, affiliate ID...etc)
Most PPC network can track and block sources. Most tracking software can track for you as well.
Always split test your offer. Every product will give you different results.
Choose your winner wisely. Testing can be very discouraging because sometimes you will end up loosing money.
You need a lot of guts to do good on PPC.
Sometimes you might get lucky and find a winner right of the bat!
and sometimes you might give up before you do.
