Dude, today everything is based on downloads, especially music. I don't know if people will be interested in that. Good luck selling your product though, BHW any thoughts?

2. Visit the product by searching for "MusicBard" on clickbank's marketplace and checkout the affiliates page, before you think about becoming an affiliate, so that you can familiarize yourself with the software and get comfortable

I just went to your site. That product can be promoted on Youtube music videos and could work pretty well, but you need to improve the look of site.

- A professional video with some nice voiceover explaining the features (get someone from fiverr to do this)

- A better desing , will also increase conversions.

This could easily sell well... there's an item on clickbank that sells fairly well that is literally a "movie player" even though every computer has windows media player lol.

The problem is your pitch page is pretty weak.. I know I personally would be very hesitant to buy from that site. If your interested OP I make clean 2d flash videos I could make one for you. PM me if your interested and I will show you samples

Whoa! Not sure if your site looks like that on every browser but your sites design totally sucks! I would definitely not purchase anything from it if I was a customer. I do believe that you can sell this stuff but you're going to have to design your website first. Because right now..it doesn't have a design.

"Only Windows Vista"? how about Winxp, Win7?
Can install in Macintosh O/s? Can play in Iphone, IPad?

I was fortunate enough to try this out and there were very few tunes that I couldnt find. I'm not sure specifically what streams it searches but it works extremely well.

Made a few suggestions to the OP and he began implementing them straight away.

I agree with the points about the website and it is being worked on at the moment. Hopefully in a few days time there will be something a lot more palatable.

I thoroughly recommend this and would urge people to take up the gauntlet on this one. I believe it is going to be fairly huge.

Why would anyone use this over a free site like www.grooveshark.com?

1. The market that MusicBard targets has room for more than one product to succeed, and I believe that if one passes this opportunity on the belief that the music software industry only has enough room for 1 or 2 entities, is missing out on an opportunity to make money.

2. MusicBard boasts a simple user interface, voice recognition, access to millions of songs, a small footprint, flexibility and growth.

There are over 13 million people using Spotify with more than a million and a half paying a monthly fee. Why would they do that if they can download for free.

It's kinda like asking why would you bother paying for something in the store when you can shoplift it.

Some people just want access to their favorite songs without getting into any legal trouble.

fair enough, but comparing groove shark to shoplifiting isn't really accurate....grooveshark isn't illegal I don't believe.

Good work OP, I thought this was interesting the first time I saw this post. Ya there are other options but if you make it user friendly and sell it good enough you have something. Then create an app for phones and bam! I have a similar app on my phone but it kinda sucks.

Like others have said, you need to totally revamp your site design to your target market.

That is confusing as heck!!!

What exactly are you saying in PLAIN English?

Must I have Windows Vista? What computer OS will this work on? And which ones will it not work on?

What do you mean by, "Audio Input?"

You need to put together a FAQs and explain these concerns/issues in everyday language.

In response to the discussion in this thread, and the feedback that I have received thus far- changes have been made.

1. The name of the product has been changed from MusicBard to SongHippo.
(the new website is now SongHippo)
2. A Free trial of the software is available on the website- enjoy
3. The website has been upgraded to a more professional look and feel which now includes a FAQ section.

You need to improve on the design of the box cover. It looks to simple imo.

wow the site looks so much better. I would actually buy off of that site now.

Only thing is the picture quality of the Hippo.

The design looks pretty good. I will definitely look into promoting this with ClickBank. My only concern are the tabs at the top of the site. The text is very small. I would increase the size a little bit so the user can see them easily.
