Hey guys.

So I released a clickbank product last week and decided to try my hand at emailing the targeted group and thought I would share my results.

I have 2 products

PRODUCT 1 -Is Very Niche so whenever I email these people I am pretty much guaranteed they will at least read my email and that's where I get most of my email sales

PRODUCT 2 - There is a lot of red tape to get to the person with purchasing power so I haven't been as successfull emailing

I got 300 subscribed emailers

So anyway I sent out 300 emails approximately and made 5 sales


I think phone calling these niches instead of emailing would have a wayyy higher conversion rate. I think I will try this and let everyone know how this went. If any of you guys are experienced at telemarketing, shoot me a PM cuz I think you could make a killing off this as an affiliate.

Anyway thought I would just make this thread to show you guys emailing is alive and well if it's targeted and also give you guys the opportunity to become affiliates!

Emailing is alive and well, I agree. Although, were these random email lists you found on google and used something to spam them or were these people on a list that wanted emails sent to them?

I'd be curious in more details of the delivery method if you'd care to share.

Heck, we could trade info lol.. I've done a lot of cold calling. Not to sell a product, but to try and schedule events at various venues. So may or may not translate over to products.

I have just researched on the topic of emailing because of your post. thank you for making me see this as a good addition to my projects. may i just know what email marketing tool do you use? I will personally go for mailchimp first (because its cheaper with a pay-as-you go version) but will switch to aweber because they say that it is more powerful.

got 300 emails by basically typing in my niche in on google and adding "email list" to the end of the search term.

So you just used some publicly avaialble list of 300 emails? And got 1 sale ? Seems a bit unlikely..

have you ever tested on use smtp to send 11k e-mail per day by using proxy?

How did you build this list anyway? Did you target them off people from facebook? Or from google?

He said he sent out through his SUBSCRIBERS LIST..

It's worth mentioning here, that his "subscribed list" isn't actually "his".

If you notice, his post has been edited 04-01-2012. He actually got the list by googling his niche + "email list" - he has deleted how he got this list from public eyes. I've kept a close eye on this thread because I know this method is classed as "spam" in the UK and illegal.

I did read somewhere on here however (I tink OTrap mentioning it), that this method of spamming is ok in the US.

now i'm very curious as to what the "spam" method is. Would the OP please share. If it's a subscription list, then I can't imagine that being spam.

I'm in the US, is anyone familiar with spam laws here?

He asked the google for email lists in his niche and grabbed them, then emailed the people on them.

Where did the OP gone missing? This discussion is going on and on without the owner. Would love to see him back in actions, so that I may get some idea to sell CB products.

in case if he really send the email by "buying/downloading" the list from website that he found on google, i wonder what software did he use to send the mass mails? Any recommendation?

I'm sure google is cool with it, they supposedly went through a business search site in Kenyan, and called all the businesses listed, claiming to be partnered with the search site to get their business.

This is much less blackhat.

I've done similar, but not exactly. Trying to schedule events for a tour, I'd google for venues in the correct niche, email and then follow up with calls, to try and schedule an event at the venue.

If a business or a person has a website with their email / phone on it, I don't see anything wrong with contacting them something related to their business. That is different than finding a list on google, though. I'd go to each website and get the info.
