In the thread "how much do you make off clickbank" it seems targeted opt in email lists are the best options for making a lot of sales.

has anyone had luck buying large email lists and pitching a product?

I.e buying 5000 emails of "online poker players" then sending a "betting system clickbank offer"

I understand what you're asking, but it's way to general. There's too many variables to determine if it will be profitable or not. On a basic level, you are pitching to a cold list, so i would say no. But, if you could buy a big enough email list and with a good enough pitch you might be able to find a profitable campaign. You would just have to test and see if it works.

Isn't it illegal to send emails to people that didn't subscribe/opt-in?

Depends on where you live. If you're in the UK, then yes, it is illegal. I don't think it is in other countries. I know it's legal in the US, though it's not best practice.

gmarch25, PM me got a proposal if you're interested in mailing to click bank offers.

Ho that's super illegal in France too.

Where could I buy a large e-mail list for a specific niche for a good price? Let's say 10,000 e-mail addresses. If you have any information on this please send me a PM.

How can u send bulk emails if you have a list ? You will be banned by CB

I'd like to hook up with a mailer that emails to cb offers for a joint venture. If anyone is interested shoot me a pm for more details...
