Hey, I was wondering if you guys ever promoted offers on Youtube about Clickbank products? How well does this convert? P.S: The products, more specifically about I.M

I have a few videos promoting a product. I have not converted any sales as of yet (been doing this for a month). I'm currently working on a much larger scale project using a different approach.

Basically using a mass uploader/downloader/video editor to promote a squeeze page. So instead of the visitors having to buy the product, they just have to give up their email for some hints and tips. Perhaps this will work a little bit better and build a nice email list over time.

This is the right way to go about it. I have gotten sales just by straight selling on youtube but I make much more sales now that I promote my list instead of the product directly.

People on youtube aren't in a buying mood - they're either looking to learn stuff or to be entertained. By giving them free information such as a small ebook in exchange for their email, you're targeting their hunger to learn stuff.

Once you have them on your list, you can sell to them over and over again instead of just once.

I had promoted few months back. The stats were 1,679 views 30clicks and 1 sale.

I wonder using a squeeze page and building list will be the best solution. Well again choosing a niche turns to be a really great deal in conversion.
