I set up a site on the diet niche. It's German. I'm on the top spot on Google for the main keyword. Getting about 100 - 150 UV a day.

Well I use Wordpress, providing some major information about the diet.

I found a fitting clickbank product.

So what's the best way to advert it on my information page? By links in the article? e.g. "For more information click here".

Didn't get the clue yet. Adsense is doing quite well (about 5$ a day, ctr ~ 4%)

You can add hop ads at clickbank, you can find it in your account settings> hop ads

are you doing some sort of article/review about the cb product. if so then yeah use links in your review.

If you just want to put an ad up on the theme then use Adrotate plugin , its really good for text ads
If an image add then I use the Image Widget plugin.

Which ever you decide to use I would also recommend using the Redirection plugin to hide the outgoing affiliate links

what are your cb stats? are your visitors following your links to the vendors page? how many that do then convert?
