Newbie methods to make money on ClickBank?

So im starting out with IM and i guess clickbank is a good place to start to start earning a bit of money. The only thing is i see so many methods and ways to promote CB products i dont know which work and which dont. Plus i dont have any money to spend in the first place (so cant get my own domain or hosting).

Can anyone suggest an easy to follow method to making around $100/week? Though i got no money, im willing to work really hard, i just wanna know that my time wont be wasted.

(btw im a student, so i dont got a lot of time on me, about 1-2 hours a day. So im trynna make the most of it, and i am afraid of wasting time)

You can check the methods by going to clickbank section and click on "views" so it will sort threads descending.

You don't actually make money on Clickbank. Clickbank is just a payment processor for vendors and a tracking service for affiliate commissions. When people talk about making money on clickbank, the actual marketing model being discussed is Affiliate Marketing.

There definitely are some specific things about Clickbank that do make it easier to find good products to promote, but if you want to succeed it needs to be kept in mind that the actual products you choose to promote that will make you money. All clickbank will do is track those sales for you so that you'll get your commissions.

So if you want to make money online, then Affiliate Marketing is a good choice to work on. To learn how to do it right just follow the advice OnlineGodfather gave you above. But you may need to look through other sections besides just clickbank. Look through the forums for threads on these topics.

Then outline a plan to follow in this order.

1. Choosing What to Promote
- a. Selecting a good niche.
- b. Selecting good keywords for the niche.
- c. Selecting a good product relevant to those keywords.
2. Building A Website to Promote
- a. Selecting a good domain name. (or blog name if using free hosts)
- b. Setting up a website suitable for your product promotion.
- c. Choosing the best types of content for your promotion. (sales pages, review articles, etc.)
3. Generating Traffic for your Promotion
- a. Types of direct promotions to generate immediate traffic
- b. How to promote your website for search engin traffic.


As you get going you'll also need to look up topics regarding how to evaluate your results. If you don't succeed right at the start, it doesn't mean that Clickbank didn't work for you. It just means that something in that above list isn't right. Affiliate marketing is a time-tested system of making money online. When it doesn't work for someone, it's important to figure out what part of your campaign need to be corrected.

So, choose the right niche and product, set up your website correctly, generate the traffic. If you get all of it right then you WILL make money. Get any one of those factors wrong and you'll struggle with it.

day 1: download market samurai from the downloads section, choose a niche, choose a keyword phrase with steady traffic and high google adwords competition and low SEO competition, and choose a quality product with a decent gravity. (even better if an article from ezinearticles or articlesbase is on the front page)

day 2: write and submit an informative article with your keyword phrase in the title, and a keyword phrase density of around 2% in the body. Link to the product (articlesbase allows direct affiliate linking through a redirector, I use bit.ly.

Day 3: Articlesbase approves or rejects articles almost always within 1 day, so start bulding backlinks to your article.

Days 4, 5, 6, 7,... keep building links to the article until your article hits the front page of google

Tips:
Read the forum for info on backlink sources and to find out what methods have worked for others.
Once you have it clear which tasks you need done, you can choose to outsource the work to freelancers. I love Fiverr.
If you are getting at lease some sales from direct linking to the affiliate product from an article, consider having a landing page to presell the offer further before presenting the offer to the customer.
Squidoo and Blogger are great places to use for creating a decent free landing page.

maxxtuner, that seems like a good method. i just have to download the market samurai (the thread is confusing me). Ill put this method to work first, but is article marketing that effective to sell clickbank products?

It doesn't matter if you get your own domain or use free websites. You'll still need to do everything in that list.

If you use a blogger type site then instead of choosing a good domain name, you'll need to choose a good blog name because that will become the name of your subdomain. Other than that everything else is pretty much the same. Do your niche and keyword research, find a suitable product for that niche, set up your sales page (your domain, blogger website, article directory pages, or whatever), then start driving traffic.


If your good at writing articles then it can be one of the most effective things you can do. Not only can it help bring direct traffic from the articles themselves, but the backlinks on those article pages can be very effective for helping your position in the SERPs.

The key is to not just write the articles and call it good. You also want to build backlinks to those articles as well. Promote your articles as well as your main site and you can really get a lot more traffic.

If you have a good product to sell then "more traffic = more sales = more money".

A good place to start is Squidoo They have free webpages called Lenses, and you can acutally promote clickbank products there. You even share affiliate commisions on the amazon modules you add for related products (i think around 6%). Easy to start and you can make some money by promoting your lens. They are a high PR site too!
