Default Clickbank SEO Article Marketing Questions

I just signed up for clickbank today, and it looks terrific.
Do most article directories accept a cloaked affiliate link in the author box?
For example if I have mysite.info and it automatically redirects to affiliatelink.com, would that be acceptable.

As well, this would create valuable backlinks, so how would I harness these?
Lets say I buy a .99 .info name and have it forwarded to the affiliate link. Would the affiliate landing page receive the backlinks or would my .info?
Or would I need to use a header redirect for it to count.

Thanks!

Default Re: Clickbank SEO Article Marketing Questions

Hi newmanhia,

The major article directories like ezinearticles.com do not condone this linking, and your article will not be approved. This may not be the case for the other minor article directories- so you got to check the TOS of each article directory to see the fine print.

Possibly a better way is to have the author's link to a landing page which then pre-sells the clickbank product, and which is linked to the clickbank sales page or directly to the order page.

Typically your article will be accepted if it redirects from a top level domain name. It will be rejected if it is in a subdomain. You'll have to have a new domain for each product your plan to promote for it to work properly.
