Made my first clickbank sale!!

Hey guys,

Well its been a long and windy road for me trying to make so extra dollars online and I have made some small profits along the way but this clickbank sale felt good! I have been testing out every different method out there and f*** it has been stressful and time consuming but finally after some email marketing and a well written sales email I finally converted and hopefully this will turn into bigger and better things. Recently (today) before I went to school I set up my mailing list and hit send too 11000 emails but before I did this I said to myself "Today I will come home and I will see money on my clickbank account" and throughout the day I was thinking about how the money is there and how confident I was to do it... and then when I came home... my first sale!!!

So, positive thinking is essential when it comes to IM. Its not just going to happen for you like I have been thinking this whole time. Im 16 years old and I believe that my attitude will help me be successful online.

I hope this motivates you because I know that posts like this surely have helped me out and kept on fighting. Tomorrow I will login and have another clickbank sale and the confidence to work even harder. I know this because thats the magic of positive thinking.

Thanks. I scraped a few forums and the niche make money online but word of advice you dont want to promote a product that claims $453509345903458 in 5 days and you need to make sure it is reasonably priced.

Make sure that majority of your emails hit the inbox , if it does you will have good conversion rates

Don't forget that one sale on CB automatically
means cash in your bank...well not for now anyway.

CB TOS: Something called CDR (Customer Distribution Requirement)
Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers; and,Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers.
Dormant Accounts:
Accounts with a positive balance but no earnings for an extended period of time are considered dormant. Dormant accounts are subject to a charge of $1 per pay period after 90 days of no earnings, $5 per pay period after 180 days of no earnings, and $50 per pay period after 365 days of no earnings.

That's why I say to keep up the good work, cause
I worked at selling stuff from CB then started doing
some other sales outside CB...When I checked
a few months later, they where charging me $1
then $5 of my earnings every 2 weeks.
I only got 3 sales totalizing $80.

Hope this does not discourage you, but motivate you to continue the good work your doing.

11k emails to make your 1st sale??
some poeple told me with 10k email list you alrady can make full time online
and you are 16 years old which is incredible. when i was 16 i dont even use the internet
today make money online getting very young age

He already said how he gathered the list. He said he "scraped a few forums."

Sometimes, lists aren't as potent as you'd like. Mine isn't. I email 37K people at a time, and I usually only see $300 - $400 per mailing. That's not very much.

But hey, as long as he's covering his expenses and banking what's left, he's profiting, and that's what counts. Money is money, regardless of how much, right?

Thanks to everyone for your support. Id love to talk to some of you guys that do this sort of thing for a living or have made some reasonable income via clickbank or any other form of email marketing for that matter..

As for the noobs asking the really basic questions well you have to just stick to this forum. Read read and read again. This is the place that has taught me 95% of what I know so stick here and use the search function wisely and you will go a long way.

what do you mean by scraped a few forums? can you get email lists from forums?

Not to rain on your parade but im pretty sure if they didn't opt-in its illegal to send them e-mail. If you are in USA that is. Im not experienced with CAN-SPAM though so don't take that as a fact but id be careful.

I thought this was true, too, until a couple weeks ago I broke out the most recently revised CAN-SPAM Act, and it appears, from my reading, that you are allowed to send unsolicited email except in the case of pornography.

I know, however, that non-solicited bulk email is still considered black hat and is not part of the "best practices" of email marketing.

i figured what he was doing, sending out that many emails would be spamming too. i though can-spam had to be opt-ins?
he scrapped and blasted?

What the OP is doing is illegal, but not because they are not opted in. It's because they ARE harvested/scraped.
