Double meta refresher with clickbank
i wanted to know if doing DMR works with cb products and if any of you use it. I want to promote a few products, so far i have a landing page and surprisingly it works. I think I can get more conversions if i didn`t have the landing page so please let me know if you are using dmr and whether you make bank with it thanks!

Re: Double meta refresher with clickbank
Why would you use a meta refresh with CB? They don't care where your traffic comes from at all.

I agree. I've never done anything to try and hide my traffic source and I've never had an issue.

Re: Double meta refresher with clickbank
You can mask the url if you want. When you click the link it just shows the target domain with your affiliate ID at the end.

Re: Double meta refresher with clickbank
or you can just create a php page that redirects to either teh vendors sales page or if you want to bypass that (if your sales page is converting) then send them directly to checkout. Then just create your link as www. yourdomain.com/phppage.php obviously not calling it phppage, something like click.php or productname.php

Re: Double meta refresher with clickbank
Just don't use iframes. I noticed an affiliate that was using iframes, and he wasn't getting credited for all sales. Google Analytics would show that the visitor came in from his clickbank affiliate link, but the sale was credited to my vendor account (no, I don't have any leaks whatsoever on my site). Unfortunately, Clickbank doesn't give us a way to contact our affiliates, because I'd like to give the guy his due commissions!
As far as what somebody else said about Clickbank not caring about traffic; they most certainly do. Nothing against their TOS. Definitely no Craigslist email traffic. But as long as you're not breaking their TOS - they don't care. I don't really see the need for blanking your referrer at all - unless you're trying to keep your advertising method a secret from the vendor, in which case, I think all affiliates should be doing anyway.
I see several of my affiliates either blank their referrer or use a script such as prosper202 to hide what they're doing, and it's rather smart of them. I wouldn't compete with my affiliates anyway, but no telling what other vendors might do.
