Here are my average Clickbank profits
Could members share average profit $$$ per each 1,000 visitors to their site.
I am trying to establish if I need to further tweak my pages to maximize sales.
My average is $70-$100 per 1,000 visitors, is this OK? I am happy with this but am I leaving too much on the table?

I'll try to work with youtube too a bit later.
Any recommendations for youtube noobs?
Something like:
Do you use fake traffic tools or something like tubetrend?
Do you watermark videos or just put an url at the end of a video?
Do you create videos yourself or just search somewhere?
What the best types of videos for this type of traffic? I mean cute pets, cute girls, semi-erotic or something else?
I just a newbie in youtube marketing.
Thanks for info!

Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
And of course what types of products convert best?
-
-
Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
Off the top of my head I would say that is decent for youtube.
You should be looking to convert at least 1 in 100 visitors when you have sourced them from the right market audience.
How much you make will depend on the amount of money there is in your market.
Don't forget to factor in how much your competitors can afford to spend to get one conversion also.
I don't see why you should not be able to find a clickbank product that will pay $30-47 to affiliates for front end sale and to convert 1 in 100 of your visitors for $300 - $470 per thousand.

The most converting traffic comes from mixing all of those things you mention together:
You want cute girl-pets, with semi-erotic situations.
So, some fluffly cute girl puppies showing an outsized erection whilst wearing a cute skirt having just woken up works best.

You should try using top performer Clickbank sales letters slightly stripped down as a teaser, linking with your affilliate link to the real sales letter. SEO it as much as possible. Create a dozen in a niche name folder and tell Google, Yahoo & MSN to spider these pages. Then choose another niche topic and repeat.
This works well, you could also add clickbank banners on all information web pages(they link directly to Clickbank sales letters with your affilliate name, so you get the $30 per sale).
Youtube is very powerfull if you can create 2 minute videos of niche interest.

Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
it is depend on your geotarget traffic.
I usually got 1 sale with 600 traffic and bring me about $60-$70 at a time.

Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
This is a great thread. I'm just starting out with clickbank in a niche, I'm not sure how well the niche makes but it's a good niche so I'm trying to (of course) focus on getting my links out there and driving traffic. It's inspiring to know that even a 1% conversion isn't all that hard to obtain. I guess from here it's trial and error work for me (unless someone wants to give me the tip of the year).
This thread has been a good read. =)

Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
I just checked my most recent stats and I'm making $289 per 1000 clicks.
I use articles to bring traffic to my site and then I embed Clickbank links in the content of my pages so that people click on the 'read more' link as a continuation of what they're reading. I also put an image close by that's related to the subject.

Yeah, I just do a review style presell, with the top recommended
product. I also make sure to give some "negatives" in my presell
as this has a great effect on trust in terms of the reader. By
"negatives" I mean things like: "this is no quick fix, and will require some
work" "there are some things you should know" thnigs like that. I also have
a good niche, with pretty desperate buyers, and my keywords are pretty
decent I think. This all helps, but some parts of the process are about luck
aswell. Now if I could only get ten times the traffic!!
I hope that gives you some insights.

Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
NickE83,
That's very impressive! Where are you getting the traffic to your presell review page? PPC or organic?
Thanks...
-
-
Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
organic man, fucking hate ppc.
well I may venture into it later, and its
good for testing, but only for testing and
if you have lots of money to tweak it out.
Besides, its not that hard to get to the
top of google ; )

Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
After my first week as a CB affiliate - I have made $1,198! On one product with recurring billing! All generated by PPC - long tail niche keywords!
Better still my Traffic Secrets 2 aff just made me $200 in 4 clicks on my ppc ad!!! Yeah! ($7 PPC costs!)
(I think my PPC ads are good - I get between 10 and 19% CTR on the best ones. And I don't use that fooking annoying old news SCAM, LIES, DON'T BUY UNTIL YOU READ MY SHOCK REPORT. (Yawn) I talk about the benefits to the customer - that's it - works well.
I spent years taking no action in Affiliate Marketing - watching other people make money and thinking it was either BS, or out of my reach. Now I can see that:
1) Anyone can do it - and make profit on a few hours! (I did and I'm a noob!)
2) Anyone can build on that success - and make a good full time income from home. (It I can generate this much with two aff links - what will 100 do?)
3) Anyone who invests the time and thought into this can turn this into a seven figure income in a year or two (Create your own products!) - by identifying a need and providing a product that addresses that need.
Study Copywriting and get good at it!
Analyse your traffic data, PPC stats and build a list.
Create a hunger for the product
Study Cialdini
Study Guerilla marketing -nlp
Outsource in areas in which you aren't expert (or areas that are necessary but time consuming and generate a low return in isolation.)
COPY THE BEST! (NLPers would call it Modelling!)
BLOG YOUR ASS OFF! - Create a website that tells your story (in Aff Marketing) and share your successes - give people good advice/tips that you learn on the way - Run Adsense on here for a few extra dollars - add aff links in site in reviews of genuinely good products! - video demos etc...
4) Believe in yourself - want the success more than anything! Devote your free time to learning more about your niches - both the experts knowledge and the mindset of the people with the need (your customers).
5) Never give up!
6) Love the Money and the money will love you back!
Good Luck in your ventures!

Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
Damn, you guys are raking it in. The last 30 days has brought 938 hops with 2 sales. For a grand total of $3.85. Pushing a few books related to a niche site I run that sees about 2000 visitors/month.
Have also tried posting a few on CL and other classified sites, and I got hops but no sales.

You need to pick a niche that addresses a burning desire - that's why weight loss - money gain sites are so popular - promote products that will get them a quickfix or shortcut method, how to 'beat the system' etc.
If you are in a niche with less drive or desire for a CHANGE OF STATE > fat to thin > poor to rich > geeky virgin to superstud etc you are going to get less CTR on your Ads/Editorial links and therefore, less sales.
PEOPLE WANT TO CHANGE!!! - SHOW THEM HOW!
Also be mindful of a poor sales page by the seller - I had one PPC ad hitting over 200 clicks a day that converted to nothing because the sales pitch lacked proof of results....
I would suggest you link to your own review/editorial page with your hoplink embedded in Learn More, Free Trial, Buy Now buttons as this means that you can get them fired up for the product without costing you anything - if they drop out before the click through to the Sales page you lose nothing and if they do click through to the sales page they are more than twice as likely to buy! You can also monitor the percentages and tweak your sales page over time to improve CTR.

Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
Hi guys
PPC will only cost you money if you don't know how to go about it. If you do it the right way, with the right product at hand, getting the right help, you will succeed with this biz model.
I myself personally can help you to design a good Landing page you can use for your ppc campaings. You will be laughing by the time you realize that your CTR is high, quality score excellent and cost per click is less.
If you want, you can check my other posting on this link below. Then pm me if you want the help

Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
Hi, Guys!
Nice thread you got going over here, i would say that i`m extremelly HAPPY with my adwords campaigns, I`m corrently getting 875$ out of 1000uniques.
How?
Well at a conversion rate of 2.5% i earn 35$ per sale!
If you go about PPC, i take upon a new niche, then study the competitors while i do that, i build a landing page and collect products i can sell, then contact the owner to implant my Google tracking and off i go!
Now i do invest like 10-20$ per day just to test out the traffic and crowd, if i`m getting good enough results i step it up a notch with the spendings, allways keeping 100% ROI of my money now I`m at 70-100$ per day on PPC with Google and about 200-300% ROI each day!

Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
Well...when I used my squidoo lens, I got targeted traffic with one sale in 160 hops, so actually it was 1 sale in 10 days or so. I will now switch to youtube because I think it has more potential
-
-
Re: Here are my average Clickbank profits
Hi guys
Where are you guys showing your clickbank links? Are you putting them on a simple one page site, a squidoo page, blog page or what? Or are you just adding several pages to existing websites and then changing the promoted product when you need?
I've not done CB before. I use amazon but have built entire sites around many products but this doesn't seem to bring in as much cash as I'd like.
