I can go on and on. It's painfully obvious what you did. You took his salesletter, and some parts, you changed words around. Others, you just copied word for word.

From Copyscape's site itself, they mark a site as a copy if it finds a word-for-word match in more than 70% of the adcopy. Guess what that means? It means that you stole at least 70% of your site from farmville secrets.

It uses a mathematical algorithm. It analyzes one site against another site. It found that at least 70% of your site matches those of other sites that were there before you. And hell, my own eye (as well as others here) see the same thing.

I do not doubt that you "re-wrote" the adcopy. At least you didn't do a simple find/replace that you did with your other product. But you still stole the work.

I do not find fault with using other people's ideas. That is rather normal in business. You did much more than that - twice now. You are other using people's WORK. Just because other people here do it, does not make it right. I'm just waiting for you to steal some of my work. I'll have it all shutdown rather quickly. But since I'm not the copyright holder of the people you stole from, I can't do anything, except for send them an email and alert them as to your theft, and hope that they do have you shutdown, which I will do now.

I would want to know if somebody was stealing my work. The owner of the sites that you are stealing from deserves to know as well. If you don't want him to find out, then *GASP*, don't steal adcopy/site design. You may not realize it, but a lot of people pay a copywriter to write their adcopy. This fee can be upwards of $1,000+. When you simply take their copy and use it as your own, you are greatly ripping them off. Did you know that if the owner of Farmville Secrets and Dominate Mafia Wars TRULY wanted to, they could have all of your profits, that you gained while you used their adcopy, seized? Yah, it's that serious. Quit stealing. Change the adcopy. You might just wake up tomorrow and see that you temporarily can't take orders from clickbank, or that your website is offline because you stole somebody's work.

Yah, this is a huge pet-peeve of mine. I invest a lot of money in my sites. Professional adcopy, license images, coding, everything. When I catch people stealing my work, I fully go after them until they comply.

Let's use your e-whoring example. Let's say you came up with something unique, that was making you alot of money. You put a ton of your time and money into it. Then, you find that somebody else has starting completely stealing your emails, your posts, your website, everything. Then, you find that that person is a member of this forum.

Hey viral, congrats on your 2nd product.

However I have to agree with the others, stealing copy and design from other sales pages can result in a lawsuit with HEAVY fines.

I would suggest you revamp both of your sales pages' designs immediately to avoid any legal consequences... trust me you don't want to go down this road.

EDIT: As well, in regards to Farmville, I was contacted by Zynga's attorney recently and they made me take down all of their 'properties' which include their characters (the cow you have in the header) as well as any mention of the word 'FarmVille'. If you want to avoid what I went through, I'd also strongly suggest you remove both those criteria. Sorry to break it to you, Zynga can sue you for copyright infringement if you don't change this up.

if your posing risk to losing your site because your copying other peoples sites and then putting it on clickbank, then your also risking the affiliates time and money.

I'm not siding anyone in this quarrel... but imo, Clickbank doesn't check whether the page is a copy or not.
Clickbank only checks through whether you follow their checklist (e.g: refund policy stated clearly; what the product teaches; .etc).

Like there's once I needed to launch a product asap... so I kinda rip the exact information from my top competitor to use it TEMPORARILY. I checked my website log and confirmed that a staff from Clickbank accessed my site for about 10-minutes... then later went to the checkout page to see if it's linked properly. Then she e-mailed me and said I was approved.

Of course, I immediately changed my salesletter later.
