    Default C# and socks proxies?

    Hey guys,

What do you guys use to handle http requests?

    Thanks.

Yeah... it's a bummer! Only way I found around it is doing it in Python and using IronPython to let me use it in my c# projects.

I use the Chilkat component when dealing with Socks proxies, it works great. http://www.example-code.com/csharp/s...ocks_proxy.asp

use raw sockets for every request, it's much faster than webreq.

meh, if speed is so important, then you shouldn't be using C#.

And sockets are just another layer of abstraction, you can still step back one to make it faster.
