Are you familiar with Scuttle or ScuttlePlus? Understand you have to sign up for each individual site, that's after you search Google for them. Then they usually ban you from their sites after your first few posts. PLEASE TRUST ME ON THIS! I am a BMD user from way back to version 2. Its been a while!

And it is a "month to month" subscription. If you cancel your subscription, you will no longer be able to post to the sites.

That's why I developed my own network... It is a very effective method STILL!

Please don't take this as being disrespectful... because its truly not... but I think of it this way...
I take my car to JiffyLube for my oil changes. I think they charge way too much. And I know how to do it myself... for 1/2 the price. I just don't have the time on the weekends to do it...and I don't want to get my hands dirty.

my suggestion: what if persons are willing to participate with their own sites (hosting your script on their own hosting account) there should be some kind of discount for those members......that way to will get more sites to post to and greater IP diversity...
(this would be similar to the coop but I guess you have to charge some money because it will take some effort from your site to maintain the network and people see only value in something if they have to pay )

I am using (7) different hosting solutions (read servers) for all of the sites. I don't have 38 different servers. All the sites have their own IP addresses. They are not all C-Class IP addresses. The new sites I am adding will all be going on a new dedicated server... our eight.

The only "limit" we impose is this...
-We have "throttle" limits set to 15 URL submissions to each of the network sites per person per 24 hour period. This gives everyone a chance to submit and have their submissions sit on the homepage for SE spidering.
-The only other "limit" is no submissions of PORN, DRUG (viagra, etc), and gambling.

It seems it is pretty necessary to have bmd with this. Is it easy to load the list of networks into bmd? Can't find a free version of bmd, so it kind of raises the expenses when purchasing this network. I'll wait for more reviews.

Loading the list is easy. You get an email with the 30+ websites, you have to go into notepad and edit them a little bit, some copy paste and delete jobby, then just paste them into BMD. Once you do that you have to go to each one on the list (in BMD) and input your Username and Password for each network. Total time is only about 10 minutes.

The Pligg list that comes with it is an entirely different story.. getting those all setup will probably takes weeks at a moderate pace.

Does anyone know of a way to select multiple sites in BMD? So I don't have to click each pligg site I want? That would cut the time down.

It is not ready for import, you need to delete a couple words at the end of the list and add in the /register.php to each URL. But doesnt take long.

Yes... This was designed for BMD. It also works extremely well for Auto Social Poster. There is actually a free version of that, as well as many "cracked" versions here in BHW.

Can't help you with this one! There is an option at the "top" of the Accounts tab in Expert Mode to just select ONLY Pligg, or ONLY Scuttle, etc sites.

SORRY!!! You hit me up last night literally when I was going to bed!! I did send you all the necessary info first thing this morning (my time).

I am usually online on Yahoo Messenger.... "cylon_steve". If you have questions you all can hit me up there.

I have made a detailed "tutorial" video that is now on the website to explain a step by step process on how to tackle this very large list of Pligg sites I will supply you. It makes things a little easier.

I see the tutorial, but still even with this mehtod it is going to take a while. You have to go through each one, then you have to select the ones that didnt work, delete them, then redo it. So with a list of a couple thousand sites you have a lot of clicking to do since there is no way to mass select the websites that couldnt produce an account.

Then, for pligg sites, you have to go into each one and find a category that it has. So that takes time too. When dealing with the amount of them, it is going to take a while to set up for sure.

What I had hoped was that you could highlight the sites and then just press a button to sleect them all. Otherwise as your list grows, you have to go through and deselect / select the ones you do not want to create an account for. It's all tedious, which is where the time comes in.

We are actually working on a "Pligg Network" now. We have a few sites in the "beta test" mode. Having some issues, because we are using the new Pligg 1.0 beta version (more secure).

But if we can iron out the bugs, it will be similar to what we are offering now... but it will also appeal to the "AutoPligg" user base.

We are also working on a way to have out system create the user accounts (like we do now), but to also export the necessary XML file, so all you (the user) would have to do is just "Import" that file in BMD!!! Then all your usernames, passwords, emails, categories, etc... would be filled in for you. I don't have a time for completion yet... but we are hoping in the beginning of April.
