I want to offer my honest review about the content locker. First of all, I had a problem that I think could be easily prevented by improving the authentication scripts. On the other hand, I received a response from their support within hours with a fix to my problem.

The content locker itself is pretty good and works as advertised. It's very customizable which is the thing that I liked the most. I have already made back 40% of what this cost me in just two days.

Overall, I recommend it.

Thinking of buying this. I got a question, does it have a module for second page of an offer ? So that after user submits email, have to fill second page also.

I tried to buy it but Paypal stated that you could not receive money.

i'm currently on a shared hostgator account and the support their is useless. they are trying to upgrade me to a vps or dedicated server as they tell me that i will be unable to upgrade the ioncube loader. currently the script is giving me an error message:

Site error: the file --------index.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the ionCube Loader Wizard to assist with installation.

do u have a solution for this? and also, may i get an invite to the private forum please? thanks in advance.

Thanks for your purchase. There should be no need to change the ioncube loader on Hostgator. The only thing they need to do is tell you how to upgrade to PHP 5.3 (it's a few lines of code). Sometimes their support give bad advice like this.

Please don't upgrade to a VPS as you don't need to

Email our support desk and they will help you install on Hostgator and get you into the forum. The majority of our customers are using a HG shared plan without issues.

It can make the user complete more than one offer to unlock content, but there's currently nothing to force them to complete the second page of an offer. If you pick the right offers, people should convert for the advertiser anyway, so this shouldn't be a major problem.

It's just come up again, unfortunately, it was working fine for the last 24 hours. We're in the middle of moving to a new Paypal account (Paypal asked us to open a new one due to a new office we have in a different country) so the new one has been limited until verified.

So far so good. Made my first bucks already, had a lil issue at first, but the support was within 24 hours even though it was a week end. So great support as well. However I have a little question. If I set the timer to 180 seconds, and also check the forced completion option and Required Offers is 2, will the content unlock after the 180 seconds, or they will have to complete two offers? Glad you've seen some money coming in already

CLP will only "force" a user to complete 2 offers if you have postback setup. If you ask in the forum, you should get some more help in this regard from our more experienced users.

I am particularly interested if anyone ever used this to monetize a torrents site. Lets say supposedly that I have a site that has more than 5M uniques per month. Would this be a good way to monetize?

Support should respond within 24 hours. Double check you are using the same exact URL you entered at the license page in the meantime.

This is one possible use. It depends on the quality of your traffic and the quality of your content if you want to know how much it might make. I would expect you to make a decent return on 5m visitors even if they are relatively low quality. People are quite often happy to complete an email submit to get access to content like torrents.

CLP works fine on blogger. You do need to own a domain and have your own hosting to get a license setup properly, though. Once it's installed on your domain you can set lockers up wherever you want, including blogger blogs.

The following problems have been found with the Loader installation:

• The installed loader is for PHP 5.2 but your server is running 5.3

HG support are wrong, you do not need to upgrade to a VPS. If you email support, they will walk you through the install process on HG.

I just got content locker pro but I'm having problems installing it. I have bluehost, so I installed ioncube as bluehost adviced me but then when I try to load content locker i get a blank page
