I thought I would twist this ready for London 2012 and tested it out on my misses, she actually went to fill in a dummy CPA because of the content locker!

I set it up within minutes on a dummy run!

Apparently that has worked for some people. It's not something I would encourage as it will just flag fraud checks. They will almost definitely phone verify the order if you do this - so make sure you keep a note of your "address"

Meathead1234 - I just purchased this via paypal. The company you are using Paypro is giving me a very hard time. They call asking for an incorrect name and then hung up on me. Then they email me saying they cannot accept paypal, even though they took my money, and are now saying I need to wire transfer the funds. Something isn't right here with Paypro...

I used this card to by captcha credits from DBC this morning so I'm sure it's something on their end.

This is the first time I've heard of an issue with them - and we process multiple transactions with them each day. I haven't seen that order come through - so it probably got declined. Are you sure the money left your Paypal?

Ah, turns out I forgot to activate my new bank card. Done it now and order has gone through but just waiting for my call.

Support aren't always around on the weekends so we can't guarantee to respond within 24 hours. There's a small backlog of tickets that will be dealt with tomorrow.

For all of you sending in tickets and waiting for responses - please make sure you have re-read the manual, checked the FAQ and the support forum before sending in a ticket. 90% of issues can be solved without the need for support. It will make your life easier and you won't have to wait for support to get back to you

Hey meathead, thats what i figured. Kind of a let down especially with the big advertisement for the super bowl but i understand how it is. I have read through the manual carefully and unfortunately, my error is a telling me i have installed on a non-valid domain. Im very confident that is incorrect so you see, i have no choice but to wait for support. Is there a way for me to find out which domain i installed it on, or maybe change that option myself????

Support is on and off on weekends - it's overtime for my team so they do it when they can. I'm working on a way to get it covered, but it's not overly practical from a business perspective. My team are based in Eastern Europe and it's currently heavy snow over there. That definitely hasn't helped. It's 4am for me here, so I probably shouldn't be working either

License issues are probably our most common support request, so we are actually working on a way to automate a license transfer without the need for support. Most of the time (not saying you did) it's the user typo'ing the domain when they sign up so I'm sure it will be a quick fix.

Nope, the license/install domain doesn't matter at all. That's just to host the script itself. You then create lockers to use on any sites you like.

The timer is activated when the locker pops up, not when the locker is clicked. If you use a 2-3 minute timer, that's usually long enough for them to complete a short form.

I have been doing some testing with this script and its defiantly a no bullshit purchase, if you're sitting around watching this thread then you're losing money

Its 30 minutes to set it up and the rest is cash (depending on your method)

I really don't think that a "dummy" url would be in your best interest. The reason for putting this type of protection in the script is to stop crackers and carders from using the software when they didn't legally buy it. That url is linked to your account so that they know you bought it and the script can give trace back calls to there servers saying that you are running it and have a legit licence.
The best bet for you that i would think is, get some free hosting, get a free .tk or .co.cc domain, setup wordpress there and use that as your primary url. This way there will be no problems in the future as to why you cant use the script or anything like that. Hope this helps.

Yes, or you can install your locker on a "tracking" domain. You could also use the function to fake referrer.

You can't give a dummy URL, no. As mentioned by ddvv84, the license URL is there for security reasons. You'll also need to make sure your hosting supports PHP 5.3 (we recommend Hostgator).

Yes, you can use unlimited URLs, you just need to specify one for the license to call back to.

This is correct on the security side, but with hosting it's best to pay for hosting that supports PHP 5.3 rather than relying on free hosting that can be unreliable.

We sent update emails out about 3 months ago If you never got it or didn't upgrade at the time, then drop emailsupport[@]contentlockpro.com an email with your old license details and we'll get you upgraded.
