Hi developers,
How's Mike coming along? Is he still having health problems? I decided to forgo my problems with your software to respect Mike the programmer's health situation. Nevertheless, being a customer can you please update us on any developments, since you have updated your other software captcha sniper?

One more thing is that many profiles fail to register even when capture symbol is entered correctly. What am I doing wrong?
Regards.
One more thing. I just switched to windows 7 and the Auto Capture test fails to show anything, but four blank boxes. Followed your advise:
"If you are running it on Vista or Windows 7 you should right click on the exe file, hit properties and change the compatibility mode to windows xp sp2 and tick run as administrator. If it still won't work, please delete the license file, start forum bot and resend the activation code and email adress to me through PM." Did not help.
I cannot PM you.
Hope your friend is OK.
The current version only supports the format IP:PORT
The next version will add the ability to use IP:PORT:UN:PW

See comments below, however, yes some algos will be synched with captcha sniper code which will result in better accuracy and ultimately fewer BRUTE FORCE retries.

P.S. the current version is 2.6, is that correct? What version will it be at the end of the next update?
Sorry, theres no trials currently. the next version will be hmmm 2.7?

Make sure you're comparing apples to apples .. I beleive the only common footprint that both Nuke and Forum Bot have is SMF. And I'll put Forum Bot against SeNuke any day for SMF and Nuke will get ... well ... nuked
As for ABB, are you kidding me.. lol that ubot app? lol
Bottom line is use the footprints in the about box. Combine that with a list of at least 10-15K additive keywords in your scraper. Plug that list and walk away with 2-4 links easy.
You will be emailed when the update is complete.

Getting better slowly. I appreciate that and so does my health. Forum Bot is creating massive ROI in its current state for many users .. yes an update is on its way, but no reason not to use it now. Its being worked on as said before.

For most medium to complex captchas, captcha solving using OCR is rarely 100%, which is why bots that employ OCR for solving captchas also use BRUTE FORCE retries for form submission. Each captcha within Forum Bot has a threshold set for it and this is based on the success rate of the captcha. So if the success rate is roughly 50%, we set the retries to around 3-4 so that 100% captcha solving is acheived.
Also bear in mind that just because you see a succesful captcha solve, the submission can fail for literally hundreds of other reasons.

Re: Forum Bot - Auto-Captcha Forum Profile Bot
I know a lot of people have commented on the captcha solving, so I did a quick test. I ran a list of about 1k forums. Not counting forums with no captcha, FB registered for around 45% of the list. Its solve rate was actually probably higher than that considering forums that have since added security measures or become broken or some other problem. I'm willing to bet it's solve rate is 75% or higher with those considerations. This is with zero manual/service solving.
That's already pretty good in my experience. If they improve it then even better. That's a chunk of money saved over programs I've used in the past with no internal solving where I had to use a service.

Re: Forum Bot - Auto-Captcha Forum Profile Bot
the original list is going to be worthless after awhile. more and more people will spam those forums.
it's best to scrape your own list and keep it private or do limited trading. this goes for not only profiles, but article directories, blogs, etc... just about everything really.

no question. i just did not use to much time with this but have to scrape soon and try.
but it is strange if on the first day yo have 800 and on the next day even not the half of that.
i think i wait for the update. hope there is improvement in the speed, captcha function ...(which if really poor right now)

This is what we've been trying to explain until we are blue in the face. Just like any other similar tool, if you don't take the time and effort to build your own lists, then yes, you wont get the bet results. This is no fault of the tool.
Also regarding captcha solving, please stop posting false statements. Captcha solving works fine, you just have to realize what's going on (see my comments above regarding brute force)

Re: Forum Bot - Auto-Captcha Forum Profile Bot
I heard new update will include running threads instead of instances right?
when I run 10x instances cpu hits 100% so I close instance one by one but even running 2 instance cpu usage is still 100% so now I run only one instance.
I really hope new update will run threads, so I can post faster.

Re: Forum Bot - Auto-Captcha Forum Profile Bot
Hello Devs,
I don't want to start bashing you guys here because I really like Forum Bot which I believe is the best of its kind at such an amazingly low cost(lets forget xrumer here).
But the lack of updates has disappointed me a lot. There's been none since I bought it like 4 months back. I can understand that its not an easy task, but see, other devs are developing their tools too. Guys at least give us an idea when its coming. I mean, once you guys promised that new update will come by Jan end. Then you said its almost done and is just a matter of days. But now, its almost Feb end. And its really frustrating for us.
I know your other tool Captcha Sniper is being updated well, then why not this? This was launched well before CS, I'm sure.
Again, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to spoil you thread and for that I repeat again, this software is really good. But believe me, lack of updates/attention may just get this nice little tool buried down somewhere in our memories and in near time hardly anyone will even know about this gem.
So please act before its too late, which I hope you're doing.

Hey thanks for the comments. Ive been working on the update for quite some time now. I dont want to rush anything out that is not quality.
Also, much of this has been discussed just recently, in fact im not sure if you saw my post that is about 3 posts up regarding the update. Its coming dont worry. I work on it daily.
2.6 is still churning out links and has been since its released. Its completely usable right now and will be even better with 2.7

Re: Forum Bot - Auto-Captcha Forum Profile Bot
Used forum bot for a few days now and it's definitely worth the money. As has been stated before, the way to get the most out of this program is to scrape your own lists. Then test it, then save the posted forum links. You should then have a list that can post a lot of forum profiles to quickly.
You can't just scrape a list and hope for a high percentage of live links because:
1. A lot of the results Scrapebox provides won't actually be forums at all (or that may just be my poor footprint!)
2. The Captcha is solved correctly but fails for some other reason (like an additional anti spam question)
You need to put effort into making a good list to post to. Like you would do with a SB AA list. Imagine if an AA list came with SB. Would be the most over spammed thing ever!
In conclusion, if you want to make loads of forum profiles with no effort from yourself then just buy xrumer blasts off fiver. But if you work to create your own good list you can easily create thousands of backlinks every day. All for a one off fee. Can't wait to see what the updates bring. Forum Bot has a lot of potential.

Guys, please have patience, it will be out.
@ Beaglejuice... What do you mean by same deal with the other thread...... If you mean Captcha Sniper then you can check closely what we promised and so far Mikey has ket his word.
Captcha Sniper saved a lot of costs for the end users so far and has received the updates we promised. Same deal will happen with Forum Bot.
If you scroll back a bit you will see that I said it requires testing and Mike has also pointed out what it will include in general.
So please, a little bit more patience

Thx for the thoughts and i would also like to add what i recommend:
1. Harvesting via Scrapebox using the list of footprints i suggested at the first page of our thread + a huge list of keywords.
2. Splitting the final list with all the dupe domains removed into chunks of 500k and loading it up in the Sick Platform Reader. For those of you who don't have it, it's free and you can download it by using the link below:
Code:
http://sickmarketing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1351
3. Gathering all the supported platforms after analyzing it with Sick and splitting the list into 20k batches and load it up into fb.
4. Rinse and repeat, look for new kw lists and build some footprints yourself by analyzing the patforms.
Example:
We will use this site as an example:
Code:
http://www.veradoclub.com/smf/index.php?action=register
now if you scroll down the most common footprint would be:
"Powered by SMF 1.1.15"
or
"SMF © 2011"
Now go ahead and look for something that would appear on every page of this platform, for example:
"Welcome, Guest. Please login or register."
or
"Login with username, password"
So, your footprint would be:
Code:
"SMF © 2011" "Login with username, password"
...just an example
It takes work to build a good list

Re: Forum Bot - Auto-Captcha Forum Profile Bot
Unfortunately I am a scrapeboard owner. One thing I can say for certain is that Forum Bot has a higher success rate and the captcha solver is more accurate. It's easier to use as well since they handle a lot of the little stuff for you. That gives you less control, but in the end it's not really a big deal. And of course FB offers posting options too.
Perhaps the only thing SB has over FB is it doesn't use instancing for multiple threads and you can adjust the thread numbers. My computer handles SB high thread count just fine, but 10 instance FB is like a heavy weight boxing match. However, they do intend to offer threading options in a future update as they have stated multiple times.
Everything considered FB is the better choice and when they update it with more threading options it will be better in basically every way.

I am keeping a track on this thread for a long time, i am using forum bot for say 100-150 high pr profile links, it work good with 50-60% success from the list. Also it takes lot of time.

You still didn't "deliver" that update and you are promising another one ?

Re: Forum Bot - Auto-Captcha Forum Profile Bot
I keep giving it since I bought it.
I do understand that it's not easy, but to be honest why I as a customer should care how hard is it to make/release an update, but I'll stop requesting it ... want to see how serious you are on the promise.

Also, much of this has been discussed just recently, in fact im not sure if you saw my post that is about 3 posts up regarding the update. Its coming dont worry. I work on it daily.
2.6 is still churning out links and has been since its released. Its completely usable right now and will be even better with 2.7

Okay I understand.
One thing, I guess I deserve to know this being a customer.
What are the feature updates coming out in this new version? Not asking about bug fixes and all, rather new features, like may be vB, phpBB, IPB support, reCaptcha, private proxy, multi threading support, etc.
Can you give us that list?
Also a screenshot or video of how 2.7 is working right now would be nice too.
