Yes we use oauth and the twitter api

biggest difference is our system is web based and no need for proxies

the design of this program was intended for offline customers and ease of use for them but it is so good imo i thought i'd share it with pals here on bhw

i hate to burst your bubble man but the twitter api is highly monitored and you will get accounts banned very quickly trying to use the twitter api. same with not using proxies with mass amounts of twitter accounts.

i used to not use proxies and twitter links all your accounts together and if one gets banned they ban every other account that used that IP address.

nobody knows more about working with the twitter api then I
we have been using the api safely for a long time now
we also use our own proxy system on the backend
we currently serve over 4k twitter accounts daily
on the rare occasion when a connection get banned it is a simple reconnect to our users

Okay... I purchased the 100 account BHW SPECIAL. I see this as an easy way to maintain my whitehat Twitter accounts -- of which I have PLENTY. I stopped using SocialOomph a while back because it was giving me problems and I was using their Pro version.

Payment went smoothly... Received my login information immediately after payment. So far so good.

Logged in to add my first whitehat account... Piece of cake. I have a whitehat account that needs to follow ONLY those accounts residing in specific cities and country. As soon as I was able to configure my Tweet Buddy account to do that, it started finding those accounts right away.

Again... So far so good. I have my account set to unfollow those that do not follow this account back after 2 days. I will be monitoring this of course.

Control panel is straight forward and not nearly as clunky as SocialOomph.

As a lot of members here know, I also have a couple of TweetAttacks licenses... I do not see Tweet Buddy in the same light as TA... i.e., I use TA to SPAM the crap out of Twitter. I do NOT use it for any of my whitehat accounts except to maybe do some unfollowing so Tweet Buddy takes care of this for me. Not saying that anyone else should do that but that's just how I personally use TA.

As for my whitehat accounts, I just don't have the time to maintain them manually and I've been looking for a way to follow accounts that live in specific locations so Tweet Buddy seems to fill this void for me perfectly.

I am looking for a tool that posts Direct Messages to all followers of an account easily. Does this software do that, even on a scheduled basis this would be the best tool if it could do that.

we haven't had that request..... but we can put it on the list .... as of now you can only set it up to DM new followers

we are now handling over 5k twitter ids in the system
and over 15k keywords daily
in the last 7 days alone we have added over 1.8 million follows for our users

Started working with Justin months upon months ago with other projects. He is a very stand up, helpful guy who has a lot of talent and good direction with his products and services.

If you can figure out how to dump a DM into all your followers Direct Message Box the same way caltweet website does, your software would become the most relevant software for twitter, and I forsee tons of people who would buy it for that feature alone.

Ok. I am going to test this out on a new account that I don't care about. I'm just worried about that oAuth. They will start banning all accounts linked with the oAuth "TweetBuddyNet" and shut you guys down.

1. Oauth is the system they switched to so i'm not too worried about connections being banned. We have had a couple killed in the past, but it is an easy reconnect to our users we have a pretty smart system now that doesn't overload any 1 connection.

2. 99% of users leave that blank but the example on there is bad as you can't put in a .5 if you want you can put in 5:1 which would mean you the system would only allow your to follow 5 people for ever 1 following you. personally i would just leave it unchecked

We have been at this with the old twitter api system and the new and we are I believe the leaders in the field we are serving couple thousands users now and over 5k twitters ids. over 15k keywords daily and over 1.8 million follows in the last 7 days.

I appreciate you giving the system a try I hope you like it.

single accounts sometimes get banned due to the user pushing the limits on following but we allow them to go up to the twitter max of 500/day which to me isn't a good idea. that is 1 follow every 2.8 minutes 24 hours/day which isn't very human like. I recommend for new accounts to go no more than 150 for the first 7 days, but we don't babysit our users we just advise based on our experience.

you know i have never asked for testimonials because i feel like people make them up so i never pay attention to them unless it is somebody i know. That being said a member posted on the member support message board this message.

My experience with Tweet Buddy has been simply outstanding!

When I started about 30 days ago I had one twitter account with about 1,500 followers. Now I have five accounts with approximately 7,000 targeted followers. They are getting a constant barage of tweets on automatic pilot, as well as Direct Messages on sign up.

don't really get into suggested setting since all twitter account from different users are in different stages of growth

but i usually allow 3 days for follow back and leave the ratio turned off personally

question for new feature idea
when adding a "keyword" search or "by user list"
would it be beneficial to say all follows had by "x" keyword put into "x" list for that account
