I just updated to the last version and it worked fine for me.
Did you closed all the other SB instances before updating ?

Yeah i have one instance open. ive been uable to update for a few weeks now :/

Well you get what google or whatever engine you are using, gives out. The engines see scrapebox as a browser and give the same results as say firefox or chrome. Have you ever searched a term and then manually looked at results 800-1000? You might search for how to plant grass in the spring time and get results about what polish works best on mustangs. You can get completely irrelevant results. Google focuses on results 1-10, as thats where most traffic goes. Results after that can slowly or quickly lose relevance.

Its probably too old and is connecting to an old update server that no longer exists. Just download a fresh copy and overwrite or install in a new folder.

quick question.

after checking PR, how do i recheck only the domains with status - dead proxies?

I tried again many options but cannot force learning mode to run smoothly. I do not know if any of you guys have same issues, but I am using windows 7 64 bit. I tried many various definition and captcha lists here. As well many thread options and timeout. So when I got stuck on a particular url I wrote it down and it really was not making any issues. I posted later only on those about 20 links that randomly got the learning mode hang with 99% cpu usage and they went through without any problem.

So now I know that filtering urls before posting is not a problem here. There have to be another thing that causes the addon to freeze after a while, maybe some of you folks are facing similar issues here.

After the PR checker process is stopped you can select all the sites with "---" symbol in the PR section. Those are the urls with "error-dead proxies" status. Copy paste them in a text doc or another SB instance, get some fresh proxies and you are ready to go.

What proxy sources do you use ? I'm trying right now to scrape with default proxy sources and it's working fine. I'm using last Scrapebox version 1.15.68.

SB keeps crashing... says out of memory. Scraping 4600296 keywords + footprints (merged). Anyway to increase memory size?

More RAM? That's way too many keywords, I usually scrape 25kish keywords at a time.

^ Have 16GB RAM and most of it is not used by SB or any other tool.

ScrapeBox (and most other tools) are 32 bit processes and will not use more than 2/3GB of memory.

Split it into 5k or 10k files. Scraping that many keywords never works, gotta split them up.
10k keywords = 10 million urls scraped.

When using TDNAM addon, I am encountering this "unable to download datafile, using local datafile" message.
Is there anything I have to do to download the new data?

You need to wait about 12 hours until your license will be activated. Sometime less.

That's probably happened because you are using a old scrapebox version. Update to the last version and it will work.

Hey, I have always outsourced my SEO, and Scrabebox is a tool that I am always hearing about. If i want to learn, and start doing my own SEO, should I start with this tool? Im sorry for asking this on your product thread, but I am interested in learning how to do my own SEO. Is this a tool a beginner like me should invest in?

Nope, works fine, its just hitting google and google sees it just like a web browser. There are no issues with, but its subject to the same IP bans etc... that you get with harvesting. What issues are you having with it?

Could be an issue with the VPS provider, they might be blocking scrapebox. Do they have a filter on the VPN?

Once you get it downloaded, does it work with the VPN.

Its a good tool. Its not hard, but it does a LOT so expect to spend some quality time on this tool over the next few months. Price wise its only $57 so its great to start. Quality wise, it does TONS of valueable things for just starting out, its like the swiss army knife of SEO.

So I would say yes, just plan on spending time learning.

As said above, you need to make sure you are using the latest version of the addon its self. Current version is 1.0.0.17

I just tried it and it worked fine. Else you might need to uninstall and reinstall and or go into your addons folder and set it to have write permissions etc...

Just hit check PR again, just like you did the first time. Scrapebox will only recheck the ones it doesn't have PR for, same applies if you have issues while checking indexed. I always hit Check pr button twice just to make sure I got it. Let it run once, then go back and run it again.

Hello thread. Its me again.
I'm having trouble importing a Index List.
It won't import at all.
This is highly problematic! I would like to get this fixed as soon as possible.
I've tried several different things.
However I'm sure that I'm using the correct format.
I just find the lists and replace the {} with my website.
I still get the exact same error regardless.

I tried to figure this one out on my own, but I couldn't.
I changed from ansi coding to UTF-8, but that still didn't work.

Can anyone please help me with this?
I've used the search function and have not found a proper solution.
Just something about needing a title and a url, which I tried, but it still didn't work.

@loopline I'm using the latest version, along with latest version of scrapebox.
Did a reinstall of the addon but still encountering the issue.

Might have something to do with the VPN I'm using, maybe its timing out or something but my VPN is currently on US though.

Whether or not I use proxies I allways get 404 error in google competition plugin. Even when the list is small. I can even harvest with those proxies, but I can't check the google competition with them.

Edit: I've updated everithing I possibly could and now it works

I had the same issue. I actually had two issues that I fixed myself. One was that I could not purchase the premium plug-ins -- when I double-clicked nothing happened. Security on my computer is high, so links are probably suppressed. One email to the lovely Scrapebox team solved that -- they sent me manual paypal links to make the purchase with.

Issue #2 was yours -- I was getting the "can't make payment now, try back later" error through PayPal. Simply try another browser. Another item that will work for sure is to try another browser, and then even use an alternate email for the same PayPal account with the proper password if you have that setup already. Good luck!

It could be the VPN or your security software. Try turning the VPN off and then try to launch the addon and see if it works. Also make sure you add allow rules for scrapebox in your anti-virus, firewalls etc..

Failing that you can go into your scrapebox folder >> addons

and delete this file:

sbtdnam.dat

Its the current data file it has, so if its corrupt it could be an issue.

Make sure your running scrapebox from the desktop or from mydocuments as well, that way you are making sure permissions are setup ideally.

Your license will be activated in maximum 12 hours. Happened to me once to get the license activated after only 2 hours. So, everything is possible.

+ remember its the weekend and s/box is done from
