Hi,

For the past few months, I noticed sellers are using sneaky tactics of bumping their sales threads.

You donors and Jr.vips are given privileges to delete your own post, but it seems to be this option was abused by deleting the post and reposting it again and again for bumpimg the threads.

We issued temporary ban and warning to few. But still, some members are using this option for bumping the threads.

Its not fair.

Hereafter, if anyone get caught using this tactics, their sales thread will be removed.


Further, I can see few members posting in other service threads, requesting for service or details. you are free to do that, but kindly see that, you are disabling your signature, while posting in your fellow member sales threads. It would be ethical.

Deleting the Post is Possible? I See that the edit Button gets disappeared in less than 48 hours!!!

I never knew I could delete my own posts! Damn, what was I doing all this time??

I have experience of one of the above.One of the guy(who is reputed member at BHW ) posted silly question on my thread.Also,the guy is selling same service which I sell

It's funny 'caz of what bigbuddy said, all you got was about that you can delete your own posts.

I'm not a seller, but just a suggestion - is there any negative impact to automatically disable sigs in BST?

Realy hilarious that you even have to create such rules.

The CEO of BHW should have enough money to get a better solution programed.

Or do you want to tell me that bhw is currently in a recession?

So as everyone can see, this whole sell-thread ranking system is obviously unfair.

Also why not create more categorys? Do you realy think we (customers) want to turn 10 pages to find a thread?

There is so much wrong... realy guys sit down, get a solution done!

Isn´t it possible to just turn off the post-delete-function in the BST part of BHW?

This is what should be done. There are a lot of good services here buried in the back page. Categories is a win win solution I think.

There are categories, but no one uses them. Go to Buy/Sell Services and you'll find the categories right at the top.

Yup, I've seen this happening all the time. Good call.

Noone would be the Sellers and that's because the categorys are not getting moderated.

I agree that this type of bumping is not fair, but what would be really useful is for OP of a Buy/Sell thread to have the option of deleting others' posts so that the sales threads can be kept clean from garbage like this: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackha...ml#post3827344

The OP could delete all bad reviews then, so that´s not a good idea.

I expect to see some temp banned reputable members banned in the near future. At least its not like WF, where you need to pay moneyz to bump it! So let's not abuse the BST here.

Yeah, i just figure it out a few weeks ago after someone deleted one of my posts. Click on the actual post number and go from there...

Except mods, no one can delete other posts.

Also, didn't know that i can delete my posts. I was actually asking some mod to edit it all these days.

48 hours is a lot of time for the bumping to happen..

Yep absolutely correct.Lot of sellers are doing this way to bump their service thread and I saw some good sellers were ban.

I really like this b/c as a buyer I am seeing so much more variety on the first page instead of the exact same threads over and over and there are so many good services in this section of the site that they all deserve a fair shake on the first page.
