Thread title I believe is misleading, because your links are profile links and those pages have no PR. Actual domains do have PR as stated.

I tested this on a brand new domain with $19 package. Unique content, no prior backlinking done, domain was 1 week old. And within few days I am on page 2, which is pretty good.
