I just got the letter in the mail, I have money in another paypal account i can have sent over but my account is limited and can't receive money. Can I just load a VCC with money, put it in my other paypal account, and have it take the money from there? Theyre saying I can only send a check can someone please help me out

Next time use a virtual credit card for your paypal account and dont use your real name, address, etc. :)

Ignore the letter, next letter you get don't open it but return it and write on it that the owner has moved.

I'm not trying to dodge it, It's just $80 - but I can't send a check (im 17) and my paypal is limited.

does paypal really can do that? send a debt collector to after you? what have you done?

my balance was -$80 for like 2 months, They just limited my account and I got a letter in the mail from a debt collector - which my mother opened (fucking bitch) and wasn't too happy about...

but i have other paypal accounts that have a lot of money in them but I can't send the fucking $80 to my other account cuz its limited....and this account with negative balance has my real info....this is frustrating

Well, I hope the debt collectors also cut your dangly bits off, speaking about your mother like that!!

if the letter doesn't have your name on it - you shouldn't open it

Agreed...but she's your mother and you shouldn't speak about her like that!!

Now, if she beat you with a stick when your were a child then I might have some sympathy...but just for opening a letter?????

It obviously goes farther than a damn letter....Its called respecting someones privacy

Regardless, it's extremely disrespectful to speak about your mother in that vein.

You're 17, you've got a lot to learn...just wait until you get married...opening letters will be the least of your "women" problems...

Why not give the debt collectors a call since you want to pay and they can tell you what other payment options open to you.

BTW calling your own mother that word just for opening your letter is just NOT COOL

Your 17 -- you don't deserve privacy yet. You deserve (or are lucky enough) to have parents that care enough to see why your getting legal letters in the mail before your dumb ass 17 year old self really gets themselves in trouble.

Hell I know the crap I pulled at 17..... on the stuff my folks didn't catch me on. Imagine if the the other half never got caught :)

All parents spy on their kids... it's in the job description.

Getting the debt collector to collect your *unjustified locked* funds from the criminals is the best idea, it would be such a backfire to PP and their bumptiousness. Get the law on your side and intimate the real criminals. They want to charge you to steal your money? Fuck them.

Im just gonna call paypal tomorrow and try to get my account unlocked and tell them I can literally get the whole situation solved in 5 minutes if they just unlock my damn account.

see, you're the fking bitch...

if you played your cards right, you could have swallowed your pride, admitted your mistake and maybe gotten your mom to help you out here....if you're good to your parents they will help you out in many cases....

but you sound like a fking brat....with a fking bad attitude. you obviously have done a lot to your mom to lose any privacy...

Haha join the club, LLC systems call me everyday at 8 a clock in the morning. I usually answer and tell them to fuck themselves. I'll be writing a fake letter soon from my fake lawyer. ;)
