I have a regular business license registered in my county. If I want to subcontract (1099 tax form) work do I need to form a LLC or can I do that using my regular business license?

you can do it with your regular license. The purpose of the LLC is liability protection..nothing to do with 1099s or sub-contacting work.

you just need to get an ein from the irs website to issue 1099's unless you want you ssn to show on them.

just use regular business license. It's what I do.
