I have a buyer in US who wants to send me a good payment by XOOM (he will pay XOOM by bank transfer), but he is at present in a different US state than his home-state.

He has a phone number in his present state in US.

Does XOOM call the money-senders ? If yes, will XOOM accept my buyer's present phone number on a different US state ?

I think there will be no prob because he is paying by bank transfer. No possibilities of fraud like paying with credit cards.

My buyer says that XOOM does not need the followings :

1. Bank name.
2. Bank authorisation on the bank's own URL.

So how does XOOM verifies if the sender is genuine ?

You can dispute a credit card payment saying you didn't authorize it but you can't dispute a wire.
