    Default New sales guy

I have a small company been trading for about a year in my niche.
I recently took on a new sales guy have worked with in the past.
He agreed to comission only while I set up what we do as the inital investment
is going to cost me 2k plus. He now after one weeks wants a basic he is yet to sell a thing. I informed him that I would review it after Jan so I could recoup on my initial investment but he is again just pushing it. I have worked with this guy in the past and know he can be a pain in the arse.

Not really sure what the question is. It sounds like he has changed his mind on the agreement the two of you made, if so you have two choices, pay him a draw or tell him to take a hike. Only you can decide whether or not he is worth paying a draw to or not, if he is than pay him if not tell him to take a hike and you will get somebody else. Seems like there are a lot of people looking for jobs so really no reason to put up with somebody giving you problems unless he is really good at selling.

Sounds like a bad deal. If he hasn't even sold anything, I'm sure that's why he wants a base pay. I'd probably tell him to take a hike. If he can't sell and he's a pain in the ass, why bother?
