Opening a Company in US ? Do I need to pay tax?
I am not in US nor a US citizen
I found out most of companies out there prefer to do business with a US company rather than some companies in Asia, such as Thailand or Philippine
There are too many law firms that will open a company in US and provide a virtual office.
My question is will I encounter with any kind of issue by using that company in my Internet business. Do I need to pay tax to US as I have opened a company there, Will I encounter with problems if I dont pay tax ?
I am planning to visit US in future so I dont want to have problems in that country.

Re: Opening a Company in US ? Do I need to pay tax?
The U.S. company is going to have to pay taxes on its profits, but you can reduce its taxes by setting up part of the company in the country you live in,or a lower taxed one such as switzerland, bulgaria, ireland etc. if the taxes are to high in the country you reside.

What if my earning goes to a bank account in Malaysia
Do usually US companies send money to other countries rather than US..
For example I register and deal with them with my US company but when they want to pay me, I send my personal bank account in Malaysia,
Do they pay or they obviously reject to send any payment
I mean is it some thing strange , a US company with a Malaysian bank account

You could open a US company but your company is actually owned by the US government. Sending all the money to a personal account in Malaysia will be scrutinized and they may seize your US bank account.

Re: Opening a Company in US ? Do I need to pay tax?
Open a company here in the US and pay yourself out of that income as a freelancer. If there are any profits or the state requires sales tax then yes you will have to pay the taxes. It is not as hard as people make it out to be but you have to follow the rules. The company needs to be set up as a separate entity from yourself. There are many books on the subject and I recommend that you search there rather than this forum to get better information.

Re: Opening a Company in US ? Do I need to pay tax?
well you could have al customers pay your US copany. Then as expenses you send invoices from your home country - where you should have an official company. of course only makes sense if you pay less taxes there. The rest you will have to pay taxes on in the us (the company that is )

Will this trick work?
If the company makes 100K revenue, am I able to invoice 99K of it outside USA and send the money out? it means I just pay tax on 1K ?
Has any one done some thing like this ?
