why do they even need to know that you have a Payoneer account? you can use it for shopping, withdraw money at ATMs, but you can't withdraw money from it to your bank account or everything (ATMs, POS terminals) is controlled by the RBI?

Hey,
Actually, the Indian Government has restricted the issuance of all Visa/MasterCard cards. This unfortunately includes Payoneer.
We do offer a worldwide local bank transfer service available to Indian residents (for participating partner programs). You can contact our CS department for more details.

Just to clarify - the RBI has prohibited the issuance of Visas and MasterCards by non-Indian companies, which is what we are, of course.

Hey, Thanks for your response.
Just wanted to clarify something, I understand that i can get the money by wire once it is trfd by my affiliate network to my payoneer account.
Can you please point me to the charges applicable for international wire for personal accounts.
Paxum charges $50 for wire - which is ridiculous..

Re: Indians - Status of Payoneer and Paxum accounts
The cost is generally up to $10, depending on your country. For India, the cost is $5.95 and it is transferred directly into your bank account from your partner - it doesn't stop in a Payoneer account along the way.

Yes, the card works everywhere in the world. If you aren't an Indian citizen and you are just visiting India, they work there, too.

Also - to clarify, we have ACH transfers in the US as well for $3.

I will be selling a website in the future and if it sells it might fetch me few thousand dollars. As an Indian resident, can I ask the person to send funds to payoneer account. Also, will he be able to pay via paypal, credit card or debit card. Apart from the transfer charges, how much do you guys deduct from the sent amount. I don't have an account with you guys as yet. How soon do you fresh applications and how soon is the money transfered via bank transfer? Also, do I have to wait until payout date or something for withdrawal. Please let me know. Thks!

Hi,
This case in particular is difficult only because you are located in India. Since you cannot receive a card due to RBI regulations, you cannot receive a payment through Payoneer that isn't done through one of our partners. If you can have the person pay you through one of our partners, then yes, you can have it sent directly to your bank account. The fee is the flat fee of $5.95 plus the conversion fee, which is 2.75%.
