I am 13 and have a big problem. I need to know if I can go to UBS in Switzerland hand them a cheque from adsense and they hand me the cash. Os this possible in exactly the form I said?

You need too be 18 years old to have an adsense account. So how did you get one? If it's your real name on the check I guess it would work.

you can cash the check there. But Sometimes depends on what country you are belong..

To cash a check, whether you are a minor or an adult you must provide a valid form of I.D.
Banks require identification to verify you are indeed the individual to whom the check is written.

A minor may be able to cash a check at a local check casher, retailer or payday loan institution.

if they wont cash it directly just sign the back and have a friend or family member deposit it into their bank account. Doesnt matter whos name is on the check. The bank will honor it.

Oh it's really hard, you enter all your real details, exept you add a couple years to your date of birth. I know my ideas are so original...

I had that problem when I was 13. You wont be able to cash it, no way. Make another account with your moms or dads name and their details and receive the check that way. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until youre 18.

ive had a paypal account since i was 13. 19 now. Up until i was 18 i had it hooked up to my moms bank account. If i wanted to cash anything. Id just wire it in and shed take it out next time we went to a bank(here in South florida theres literally thousands of banks and atms. Cant miss one) But the bank didnt ask questions

You can always just call the bank, but you'd probably have to link it up with one of your parent's accounts.

Yes, you can. Just don't tell them you're 13 and you should be fine. I'm 15 now and have been using adsense since I was 13 also with no problems.

I don't know if they have these where you're from, but in the US there's a place called "Currency Exchange" and you can cash checks there. There's like one on every corner here.

I think Wal-Mart and some other big retail stores also offer check cashing services too.

Either that or just get a bank account. You will probably need to have your parents name on it until you're 18, but at least you can cash checks easily that way.

A place like currency cheque is what I need! Does anyone who if there is something like this is Switzerland or Germany? I haven't heard of them yet, but I haven't really needed it until now.

I cashed my own cheques when I was 14 with my pic ID, In the US though.

I've never been there so I have no idea, but I would imagine there's something like it. Try searching on Google, I'm sure you'll find some place you can do it.

In some countries you don't even have an ID before 14. Only birth certificate. Not to mention having a bank account...

I have both a ID and a bank account. But it would have to be a Fahd business. Not I give the bank the cheque and they add it to my bank account. I want the cash!!!

Don't think it will work that easy I suggest you try to use your parents' account.

If it's endorsed to you I'm sure you can get cash it. I too would like to know how you got an account being 13. I'm guessing you just lied about your age? Or did your parents or an adult sign the check over to you?

You certainly can cash it. You just need a checking account.

I had a checking account with full rights when I was 8. Here in Michigan, USA all I had to do to get signed up at the bank was get what was called a "state ID." This ID looks exactly like a driver's license but it doesn't allow you to drive. It has a picture, a unique ID number, and is issued by the state government - and that's all the bank wanted. Ma might have had to cosign that she'd cover any bounce fees that came about, but that was all there was to it.

Oh, I had to get a social security card too, but that was only because back then you didn't get branded with a soc. number the second you came into being. So my soc. card looks like it was signed by an 8-year-old, because it was.

Anyway, I had full check cashing abilities and I could even write out checks to pay for things in stores. It was definitely cool being the only kid in the school with a real checking account.

To the OP as long as you have a ID you can cash it. Or you can always deposit through the atm or in the bank. But the answer is yes

Yep no biggie. I did the same thing around your age and never had a problem with it. When you turn 18, fax Paypal your ID and tell them you accidentally typed your DOB wrong when you started the account and have them change it for you. That's what I did and it worked with no questions asked. Nothing they can do about it once you're 18 (but maybe laugh I guess).

Never had a problem with any affiliate networks either. Just make sure to use a valid SSN (or whatever the swiss equivalent is) and only use a fake DOB. I always worried that there was a link between SSN and your DOB that people could check on but I never had any problems so I guess not.

You can get an account with your parent(s) as cosigners, they wont let you cash it without them present but they will let you deposit it (they'll also have to be present for you to withdraw). Not sure about where you are but when I was that age you could not have a full bank account as a minor but rather one where an adult had a co-sign on it.

However, you can also just sign the back of the check and write "Pay to the order of someonesname" and then that person can cash it for you at their bank.
