Re: Opening A US bank account for foreigners
this year ( 2o11 ) i've opened business account in USA. How I did that?
Not so hard...
I came to my TOWN BANKS and asking if they got banks in USA, they gave me contacts and I started call to every bank.
Few weeks later , one banker wanted to meet me in USA. I flight to ny and on the same day they opened my bank account with just $50 deposit on it.
So what I want to say, if someone of here really looking to start legal business in USA when you are in other country, i recommend to take vacation and go to USA.
If anyone need more help how to open bank account in usa even if you are personal or llc I can simple help
Good luck!

I provide the following services:
I set up a corporation or llc in your name. I obtain a taxpayer ID number for your new entity. I open a bank account for your corporation. I open a po box for your new business and provide for mail forwarding (usually once per month) to your location. I also assist you in building a corporate credit rating and I will help you with any phone verifications you may need with your networks or paypal, ebay, etc. All of this is 100% legal and essentially makes you a US citizen in the eyes of these networks. All they really care about is that they can 1099 you...this allows them to do so.
That is a pretty good service ...man how do you limit your risk from people trying to take advantage of this service for criminal activity?

Re: Opening A US bank account for foreigners
Lets make things a little clearer for people who want to open a bank account. I live in the UK and opened a US bank account from my home without having to travel to the usa. Believe me, it cant be done you are wrong. I have it.
You can do it two ways 1 is a personal account and the other is business account. Please do not be fooled, there are not annual fees on either types of accounts.
To open a personal account, you need get a forwarding address (NOT PO) the bank will reject it. Then you need to prove that address is yours, the best way to do that if you dont live in the US, is to sign up with a pre-paid credit card such as payoner, 2checkout or
plimus
You will need to wait about 3+ months for them to send you a card statement, if done correctly or you can as if they have an online view able statement so you can print it off. Once you have completed this, get an EIN and link it to your new forwarding address, why..? This will create a US presents about yourself. I have to warn you, this is a lengthy process.
However, option 2, is to form a business in New Mexico which is really minimal in fact "0" on a yearly bases fees compared to other states such as Delaware. This process can take 1-2 weeks to be completed. And still very cheap. I DO NOT recommend contacting banks such as HSBC or Bank of America, CITi Bank because they will open you up an international bank account without a routing number and account number which is not the same thing.
