Gaypal New Problem, Please Help Me...

Hi, I am from India.

Few days back, i transferred some money from gaypal to to my bank account, which is linked to my gaypal account. Normally it will take only 2 or 3 days to credit my bank account with funds.

But for the past 1 week, i did nt receive the amount which i transferred to my bank account and i received the below mail from gaypal.

Dear .........,
We are currently experiencing an issue processing withdrawals to Indian bank accounts. As a result, there may be some delay in withdrawals from your gayPal account to your bank account.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and are doing all we can to resolve the issue.

Thank You,

So, i thought it will be resolved soon. But still i did nt receive the money and mailed to gaypal. Now they are saying, they can't do anything as funds transferred was completed from their side and its the fault of bank. If i enquire bank, they are saying, its automated and we could not do anything in this case and i should ask gaypal.

I am going mad, as amount is sizeable and i need amount badly. Kindly help me friends, what can i do next to get my money back? Does anyone facing the same problem?

Yes buddy,

All Indian guys got such email from Gaypal. They are having problems with their system. Also if you noted they are not allowing Indian guys to accept funds as gift and send the same.

I also got the same mail 3 days before and today I also got another mail saying my payment got returned but I didn't got any refund lol.

Today I called paypal and talked 30 minutes to their support and they are not able to tell anything abt it. They just opened a case there for me. So calm down it is for all of us..

I have also wrote a support ticket there yesterday and got a reply:-

We are aware of this issue and I sincerely regret the
inconvenience it has caused you. We are currently experiencing an issue
processing bank transfers to India bank accounts. As a result there may
be a delay for the funds to be available in your bank. We are doing
everything we can to process your withdrawal as soon a possible;
however, we do not have a specific timeframe to share at this time.

Thanks for the reply dheer. Yes i noticed today, i got the mail saying personal payments were stopped for India and i did nt see any refund. But i am not bothering about the refund of personal payment as i have paid for the work which done by a person.

So what can we do now? shall we withdraw our money through check, so that atleast we can receive the check.

Further my account is with SBI. which bank you are having account with?

then you can't. just request a check frm PP also as u have already requested withdrawl so I think they won't credit ur acc back.. you can do it with ur next transactions only

That was a phishing email bigbuddy. Just check email addresss it is not service @intl.gaypal .com but it says gaypal@gaypal very funny. The email from paypal is always service @intl.paypal .com

Thanks but as the mail said, now i could not send any personal payments. It was locked now.

if its a pissing email how come it has the exact amount of money i transferred ?.

And even i am facing the same problem, nearly 7 days but still money not transferred to my bank account. Got the same mail like many three days back.

Today got the mail stating that the funds are returned to my account but its not showing up in my account. Hope things get better

I transferred around 350$ on saturday but today I got a mail from gaypal@gaypal saying that 100$ has been returned to the account.Even I did not get any money returned to my account. How come only 100$ for me. Also that is not the official email. I think it is a phishing email.Just compare this email with the other legit gaypal mail

Hi , I received the mail just now asking me to fax my bank statement, so that they can trace the transaction. Does anyone got mail like this?

It may be phishing mail, but they did nt ask any username and password. Then what is the purpose of this phishing mail?

Strange man i transfers 380$ yesterday morning and today its in my account i m verified / screening i mean my docs are checked and passed by paypal !! i think you should call them , bcoz in my side my transaction always took only 1 or max 2 days from paypal to my bank account !!

@ eddiec's Yes I thought the same and as I said today morning I called paypal and talked to their support long 30 minutes and the support employee said the same that the email should start with service@.. but after checking I found that the email was from paypal and I am getting bunch of emails from Gaypal@Gaypal.com.. abt reversal of payments and few other notifications like they stopped accepting personal payment to and from Indian accounts and it is 100% correct as we no more send and receive personal payments...

Yes previously i used to get my amount credited in couple of days. But this time so many of us facing this problem.

How much older ur guys accounts are ? verified ?? and is it docs/screening passed there is not s single mail comes to me from paypal till now and working very well lol strange thing !!

paypal is getting racist or wtf? if you aren't with the same bank how the heck this kind of thing could happen? as i read what you wrote, i think you have nothing to do with your bank, that's only paypal's fault and they have to solve your problem

Yes my account is verified one and i dont find problem for these days. My account is 4 months old.

is there any indian help line number for them ? i only see a US number in the contact page.

Even i used to receive my funds in couple of days and it has never taken me more than 4 days. Till now they havn't asked for any statement or anything else

My account is more than a year old and i am transferring funds to my bank account for nearly 6 months now

There is no Indian Help line number. Only US Number. I think soon they will ask for statement from you, if you also facing the same problem.

Just got this shit from Gaypal:- and my account gone -20$ even the payment was not personal

Your payment of 20 has been sent back to the sender of the payment.

We reversed this payment because we have stopped allowing personal payments to be sent to or from India.

If this was a payment for a purchase of goods or services, and not a personal payment, then you may contact the buyer and have him or her resend the payment as follows: (a) click the Send Money tab, (b) select "Goods," and (c) provide a shipping address.

If this payment was a personal payment such as a gift, then we have requested that the sender find another payment method until we restore personal payments to and from India.

We are trying to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and we're sorry for any inconvenience.

Same case happening with me....I have like withdrawn 550$ in Saturday and till now i didn't received in my bank!! I usually received within 3 days or so....and till now one of my payment is also been returned as it was sent as personal...wtf is happening to this Gaypal!! Are they making a mood to take all money and run away

don't call right now dude. Their phone lines are off right now. They only support calling from 4:00 AM PST to 10:00 PM PST and it is 2:30 PST right now.

lolzzz why you ask the same question again and again.. I wrote them a ticket about bank delays and they clearly said that they are unable to tell us the exact dates of the transfer. So all we can do is just wait and pray to god that we ll get our money

Seems Gaypal is fucking all Specially from india WTF why i m wondering Thank God i had only 40$ in my account and as i mention above i transferred 350$ and paid server rent etc So lost 40$ and i easily get it back bcoz the client i had is my good friend ! But this is BS from Paypal i think we should avoid PP for some time !! yeah brothers i will ask PP for bank problems also ! seems like something is going bad with us.. and as soon as we contact them I am sure they ll ask about credit card # as today morning one of their support girl asked me and I refused to tell.

May be we all who use VCC to verify our PP will get in trouble soon..

Thank god that I have a CC so I can add it and verify it.

Man using VCC is not a problem. I think gaypal got messed up especailly with Indian account holders. I have sent a mail to them. let us see what happpens

don't tell them ur CC#. Just say them you can't reveal your CC # online. If they ask for verification code just tell them your web pin code which you ll get when u click on contact up link under paypal.
