My 6890$ in stuck in gaypal and i withdrew 400$ on 28 jan and today they returned them to my paypal balance after cutting 30$ as fees! My info was 100% correct and i withdrew some cash a lot of time through the same info! They said they are having problems with indian accounts!

got this mail from paypal today
We have restored the amount of your recent withdrawal into your PayPal balance.
Within the next 24 hours, you will also see a separate PayPal reimbursement for any withdrawal fees charged and variance in the foreign exchange rate over the last week. This should ensure that you will not be adversely affected by currency fluctuations during the last week.
Thank you for your patience while we work to address the issue of processing withdrawals to Indian bank accounts. We will contact you again in a few days with an update and, if the issue is resolved, you can initiate another withdrawal at that time. In the meantime, you will have the ability to spend your balance to purchase goods or services if you choose.
Thank You,
PayPal
So we can relax if whats mentioned in the mail is true

Re: Gaypal New Problem, Please Help Me...
Everyone! I've got amazing news for all those who have lost out on the cash due to the currency fluctuations. I just called on the helpline through skype and I spoke to them for nearly 25 minutes and finally they have reimbursed every penny that I lost due to the currency fluctuations! So, if all those of you who lost money because of that, just call them up from your skype and tell them your problem. They immediately refund the bucks and ask you to check and confirm while on the call too. So get your money back, ladies and gentlemen!

Re: Gaypal New Problem, Please Help Me...
Cheque takes too long, doesn't it? You order it, the cheque's gotta arrive in India, then you try to encash and they take another few weeks to verify and credit money, isn't it? Or am I missing something?
When I spoke to the officials, they said a cheque might take long because its in India and the process may take long and stuff. So I was wondering what to do!

Yes, you are right, they will take 15-20 days to reach your address and then another 30-40 days to encash it (the worst is they'll go bank to US as the amount is in dollars)
This is really irritating.

Cheque Process time : 3-4 days
Arrival time : 15-20 days
Credit time : 3 days (likes normal cheques)
The cheque is in Indian Rupees issued by CitiBank local branches India, so it doesnt take more than 3 days to credit.
